Worth every penny!! Better than the first charger!

No fair that there are no alternatives - one needs a power cord when one leaves one at home or the dog chews the cord BUT it is too bad that such a vital item costs so much and there is no way to fix the dog-chewed item. Love Best Buy for carrying these items for those of us who do not live in cities with Apple Stores or are away from home.

Wow - was I surprised to learn how expensive replacing this adapter is! $80 if new. Best Buy Citrus Heights had a demo for $65. Yikes! Why I am surprised that an Apple accessory is so expensive is even more surprising - I continue to gladly gulp down the Apple Koolaid! Worth every penny not to have 1 more nanosecond of frustration with Windows stuff.

It never seems the cords you get with Apple devices last as long as the product itself. Best Buy had the replacement cord in stock at a fair price when the original cord failed on a Sunday night right in the middle of a project with a next day deadline. Happy for many reasons.

I was worried I wouldn’t find this at a store close to my home. I have a late 2011 Mabook Pro which has a charger that is not compatible with the newer Macbooks. I had to finish a project for the following day but left my charger 30 miles away. Thank goodness my local Best Buy carried it.

More durable than the one that came with the computer!

This is a quality product like almost everything Apple makes but this is one of those items that does not deserve to have the "Apple Tax" applied to it. Like so many accessories that Apple makes that are so over priced. I had to have this item immediately that is the only reason I did not buy it from an online auction site.

It's a great product made by apple. It's also the only charger made by Apple for the Mac book
