I replaced my charger after probably 6 years of having my laptop. This charger lasted longer than I expected, a lot of people I know had to replace theirs after 2-3 years. Recommend buying.

I would recommend Apple products when replacing cords. If you buy an off brand you could damage your phone, laptop or what ever product buy. I always buy my products from Best Buy including my appliances and extended warranties on everything. I recommend Best Buy to all my friends.

My old charger was chewed by my sisters dog, and I needed a new one right away. My first thought was "oh great now I have to drive all the way to an apple store". There aren't too many in my area. But I remembered that I saw an apple area at my local best buy and once i was there it only took me about 5 minutes in the store! Awesome!

This is a great product. The cheaper cords just don't work as well or last as long.

Why should a power cord cost this much? You would think that the price Apple charges for the Mac book, accessories would carry a longer warranty or have a reduced price for perhaps a trade in promotion similar to the current one to some of their other products. Namely the trade in of the powder cord from older iPhones, iPads etc. I'm my case, this is my second power adapter I've needed to purchase in the first year of ownership.

While you can look online for an overseas knockoff, it's nice to get a real Apple product

I went on a trip to visit my mother when I realized I left my charger at home. Good thing there's a Best Buy store locally to be able to buy a charger. This one will be in my case at all times. This is made by Apple for an Apple Mac Book Pro. They just work like all Apple products! A little bit spendy. It is what it is.

I've had my laptop for 10years, and then my dog chewed through the original cord and I was worried I'd not be able to find a replacement. The staff at the store was amazing, and walked me right to what I needed. The charger works like a charm and I'm back to using my antique laptop!

I have an older mac air and it was not keeping a charge. I was afraid it was the battery, but I opted first to try a new power plug - and luckily, that was the problem. I believe my laptop took a 45w adapter - but the Apple rep in the store told me the 60w adapter would work just fine - and she was right.

Adapter product is great. Does the job. Works well.
