before buying this one,i bought about 3 aftermarkets ones because they were cheaper. well they were all junk!! either broke/heated up like a oven or even will charge on and off.. none lasted more then a month!!! not worth saving a few dollars on a aftermarket one!!!! buy this one and you won't be disappointed

Replacing this cord stopped my MAC from overheating!

I was in panic mode when my macbook pro wasn't charging. I have an old one and the battery does not last long. I found this charger at my local Best Buy and still using it. It works fine and was a decent price.

This was a replacement for another unit that finally wore out. What that means is that the rubber coating on the connecting cable cracks after several years. You can only duck tape it so much before it's just too stiff!

A good adaptor that works well for your MacBook Air!

This is a great product and has saved my mactop from a fall many times. The only drawbacks are 1)the cost and 2)the fact that I'm having to replace my 3 year old power adapter. For a computer that is a long time but I was disappointed when the old one stopped working (the magnet on the mag-safe part was coming off). Though its probably worth the cost in terms of the number of times it saved me.

5 years ago bought a MacBook Pro for my daughter - it lasted for college then was time to replace. She loves the Mac Book and wanted another. The new version is lighter and slimmer, definitely a plus. You really can't go wrong with Apple. Biggest downside really is the price. Quite a sticker shock compared to what else is out there. She reports that it is faster and battery life is better than the old Pro.

I don't have a lot to say about a power cord although this is my second one. The other one just stopped working. I got another because I needed power. I like the design in that it comes detached from the laptop if you kick it or something. That's a pretty smart design instead of ripping it off the coffee table.

It does the trick. I was replacing my wife's previous generation adapter because the cord eventually split exposing the wires. That probably could happen with any cord including this one. Be careful with how you store it, I wouldn't suggest wrapping it tight or anything. Always keep the cords loose and that should do it.

Eric Tovar was great to help with our kitchen. Just bought a Bosch DW from Best Buy and will most likely buy the rest of our kitchen as soon as we can figure out install, in part thanks to him and the guys in San Carlos.

my apple power supply charger was bad and the service geek ordered mr a new one, to be delivered to my home but i needed one now so i bought a spare one because you do not know how long they will be available in the store, the the phone protection for my 2 year old samsung galaxy. now i have a spare.

Took a minute for Best Buy to fix my laptop with a new power cord. I expected to be told I needed and laptop. Between virus and hurricanes, I did have a long wait for an appointment at Apple store, but Best Buy got me in quickly.

Expensive but no other choice if you lose your charger. Just make sure you get the right one, we confirmed that the charger we bought would work with no laptop model and when we got home we found out that the in store tech had sold us the wrong one, even after we confirmed with another clerk that it was right.

This power adapter is really good. Worked flawlessly on my old Mac. Just as good as the original as far as power supplied and quality of build. My only complaint would be it was changed from a T type plug mag safe adapter to and L - Type. I preferred the T style as it was easier to use.

original lasted almost 4 years. after market about 45 days. stick with what works and last.
