It is definitely pricey, but it works great. And the pricey problem isn't a best buy problem, it's an apple problem. I am very satisfied with the product and with the service I received at Best Buy.

As always, the sales associate brought me right to what I needed. And, of course because You can't operate your laptop without it, I bought it. The best part about it is that I was upgraded to an elite member and it goes towards my points x3! Very happy about the lifeline and the extra points.

Like any apple computer charger made now. Needed a new one bc my cat chewed through the one I bought the end of last year. Not sure what the material is but apple cords are the only things he loves to chew on. Only real compliant is that it is bulky and hard to travel with. A retracktable cord would be more practical for a laptop user on the go. Other than that, it serves its purpose.

I bought a knockoff charger for $35.00. Within two weeks it no longer worked. I did get my money back from the company. Regardless, do not get yourself in the dilemma over money. Just pay for the Apple product and you will be dollars ahead. One complaint and that is that these chargers do not last that long given how the cord bends. But what other choice is there?

Had to buy to replace my original one. This one actually charges it faster.

My husband left his cord behind at a hotel, and needed a new one in a hurry. Although my local store is small, and the laptop a slightly older model, my store had the item in stock. The salespeople were so helpful and assured me that it was the proper cord.

Works fine, in really good condition. Comes with attatchment for shorter plugin.

Bought this to replace the original adapter for Mac from 2011 since the cord wore out. This works great, the design is a little different from the original one but works the same by connecting magnetically and the cord thickness is also the same. Works as needed.

I'm still using. It was an excellent buy. I would recommend it anytime.

As with any Apple product, these chargers either wear out at the base or get chewed up and twisted. They don't last very long but there are no good alternatives. I bought a different one online and it was definitely refurbished. It over heated quickly and doesn't work well.

I recently went in to my Best Buy store not remembering how old my computer was. The salesperson was very helpful in identifying the correct power adapter I needed. It was packaged nicely and I was able to come home and plug it in. I haven't had any problems with it at all.

Works well for my needs as a plug in for use with a MacPro

Works as expected, and bought as a replacement. The older one stopped charging effectively because the wire became frayed after continued “wrapping up” of the smaller cord.
