This is a very easy to use charger it is magnetic and exactly like the charger that came with the laptop. Minus the extension port. I gave the cord 4 stars because of the price.

Had to purchase a new one after my original one gave out. Does the job, no complaints.

This won"t be fancy or exciting. My former cord was damaged when I fell asleep in bed. The cord worked for a week or so. Replacement cord became necessary. Actually, I'd prefer having/using only the cord I need. I do not use the power adapter. I now have two (2) that I have never use. Please consider the expense for something I do not use. If you need a replace cord than I would recommend this one. Very expensive but I have had no problems since purchasing it.

What's to review, this is the only power cord that is available for an Apple laptop; but Apple's the best

Price seems a bit high, but I was able to get Open Box for a good deal. Works great for my MacBook 2009.

My son was here for the weekend, up from D.C. He had online work to accomplish on his MacBook, but had left the charger at home. Of course the connectors have changed on the newer machines. My local Best Buy had three different Apple chargers with the old connectors. Success, and choices. Sales rep was knowledgeable about MacBooks and connectors. Saved the day and bridged the 'generation' gap. Not just the gear for the newest versions.

My original one got fried due to lightning. This one is just like the original one. Works like a charm.

This charger works well and is worth paying more for when compared to the generic options that are available from other sellers. I have bought several generic chargers since my original Apple branded version wore out and they did not last even a year each and caused occasional audio interference and trackpad malfunctions. So save yourself the time and just buy this genuine Apple product, the performance is much better than any other option.
