It does not charge the device as quickly as I thought it would. Basically, it is like a $5 charger and not of Apple quality to me. The Device gets too hot while charging and the cord on the device is too short in my opinion. Not happy with this purchase.

Phone charger, with a mind of its own

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Charges my phone, but twice in the last two years: I’ve had to unplug the thing for a full 24 hours; because it stopped working… Apple told me, it gets confused… and needs to be fully discharged to reset itself… It worked both times so i don’t question it, but seems strange my phone charger’s mental state should determine if it can do its job or not.
