A: A little confused by the question but hope this answer helps. iPhone 12 only comes with a cord (USB-C to Lightning), so in order to use the magsafe charger, you need to have a USB-C power adapter (cube, brick, or whatever you call it). I use the one that came with my 11 Pro Max when i bought it last year. So in the end, yes, you need a power adapter to use the magsafe charger. To get fast charging, you need to have the USB-C charger that is at least 20W, which i believe apple sells for $19.99.
