Attached to your phone magnetically through the back if you have an iPhone 12 or later, I actually have an iPhone 11 and bought a MagSafe case and it works terrific

AirPod Pro 2nd gen charger is a dream to have

I don't have to plug in but all I need to so is just lay my AirPod pro 2nd gen on top and bam its recharged quick.

I can just place my phone on the charger and I'm done. Not having to plug the charger into my phone each time is nice, and when combined with an apple phone case, it's even easier since it locks into place and you do not have to worry about it slipping off and not charging. It does seem a little pricey for such a small gadget, but still worth the cost.

This one, being the original, is capable of higher speed/capacity charging (assuming you have the right adapter), and it also displays the graphic on the phone about battery %. The others don't do that. I just wish Apple made one in black.

I wanted one for my car’s center console usb port, for that I needed an adapter. But it worked without issue. The price was higher than I’d have liked to pay for a charging cable but I think it was worth it.
