I've tried other brands but Apple's simply works the best. The best connection to the back of the phone. Once the magnets connect its not coming off unless you apply force.

I bought this to test it out on my IPhone 12 Pro Max. I had been using a charging pad previously and thought the Mag Safe would be a nice feature. The real advantage is the it charges my Air Pod Pro even through its silicone case, which the other pad wouldn’t do without removing the case. Con - I have to remember that the magnetic pad is stuck to the phone before I walk away with the phone. Wish the base was bigger to make it easier to remove it with one hand as I pick up the phone.

Great convenience by having to simply lay the iPhone 12 on this charger to replenish the battery. Everything works as you would expect quality Apple products to work. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for one frustrating thing: This charger doesn't work off of the standard Apple charging brick, not included of course. The required second trip to get the additional piece cost it one star.

Good charger, magnet is a good way to keep it on the pad. Paired with a 20W charger, works great!
