Simple and easy

The puck will get warm during usage because it's a wireless charger in a small puck, meaning a ton of electrons are shooting round the coils within to charge your phone. One review does mention getting heat warnings, this is either a false review or an isolated issue, I follow many tech forums and one thing with Apple products is if they have an issue minor or major they will be ripped for it for ages by Apple haters, so the smallest issues will be blown up to look major and I'm yet to hear anything about MagSafe causing the phone to provide warnings. I don't recommend using this if you don't have an iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max as the older phones don't have the magnets, so it acts as a standard wireless charger, just very small. With the new phones the puck magnetically attaches with a satisfying click, now you can be sure that your phones isn't annoyingly not charging after not hitting the right spot on the charging mat. One other thing I should mention... MagSafe will NOT work with all non-MagSafe cases, if you have a thick (non MagSafe) case then you may need to remove it for the magnets to connect, you may still get power though. You can buy MagSafe cases from Apple and some third parties. If you have a MagSafe wallet you will need to remove the wallet to charge, otherwise it would damage your NFC and mag strip on your bank cards. This MagSafe cable is USB-C not USB-A so you will need a USB-C charging brick to use it and it needs to be 20W of power in order to get 15W fast charge.

Handy Dandy

I love them. They're part of the reason I was willing to switch to iOS after a decade of Android. It's not the fastest way to charge, and they can get a bit warm of course, but that they hold the phone securely (if you have a true MagSafe case or exposed back) and give a decent charge rate lets me keep up with the battery while driving and using navigation. I own three of these, plus the Belkin stand which also charges my AirPods wirelessly. The convenience more than makes up for the junk Lightning cable port of pre-15 iPhones. This last one I purchased because it went on sale for 25% off. Just make absolutely sure you have a reputable power supply capable of 20W PD USB-C (I use Anker in the car as well as my nightstand). If only they came in black!!!

Great Charger by Apple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This charger works really well with my iPhone. The only issues I've had is because the Otterbox case is too thick and interferes with this charger working properly. The magnets of this charger aligns by itself to the iPhone just like an Apple Watch with its charger. It would be nice if the charger was a little bigger and came with a wall adapter, but besides that, it works great!

Great but could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This does charge your phone quickly and attaches to the correct spot because of the magnets. I like that it is compact and small and would be a great charger to put in your car. The downside is that I think the magnets could be a little stronger as my Clear casetify phone case the magnet hardly holds on when the phone is held up. I believe quite a few aftermarket cases the magnet won’t hold on as well unless they have magnets made in it. I’m sure it will still charge if you get it in the right spot.

Two years ago, I got something that you set the phone on, but I thought it was charging, but found out the hard way that it wasn't. This always connects and charges. Love it.

MagSafe Charger
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as intended! It was clear which was better after buying a cheaper version and this Apple branded one. The Apple charger works flawlessly and charges at a respectable rate. The cheaper charger was a disappointment. Save your self the hassle and get the Apple branded charger until further advancements are made by the 3rd party manufacturers.

Great charger
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this on my night stand and it is super easy to just set the phone down for a quick charge. Cable is short, so you need to make sure it reaches the outlet; and it is also USB-C so you need a charger (which I also bought).

Excellent Wireless Charger
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy the wireless charger for the Apple Watch so I thought I would give this a try when I got the iPhone 12 mini. I didn't get it for fast charging so much as just being able to lay my device on it and have it charge. However, this thing fully charges the iPhone 12 mini in about an hour which seems insanely fast. The phone stays connected to it really well and it does require some effort to detach it from the phone.

MagSafe FTW
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an Apple product, so you know it is going to do exactly what you bought it for. Convenient enough to easily attach to my phone and charge as needed. I do wish they had a 6’ cord but maybe at some point they will. Great purchase!

Wireless quick charger.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. This is the best wireless charger on the market for the price. 15W charge vs. 7.5W charge with QI chargers. Go with MagSafe. The cord could be a little longer, but it will do, and remember you also have to buy the 20 Watt USBC charging brick from Apple. That’s the bummer. Total $59.98 minus the tax.
