Its fast snd cool to the touch not to mention there are tons of accessories out there to cradle this just in case you do not want it laying down.

Alternative to "Normal Charging"

It works just fine for my iPhone X. However, there are a couple negatives: 1. Charging is slow. This isn't a big deal to me since I generally charge my phone at night. 2. This does not have a normal USB port. You need to be able to plug in USB Type C (Apple's thunderbolt port). AirPod Pro 2nd gen charger is a dream to have

I don't have to plug in but all I need to so is just lay my AirPod pro 2nd gen on top and bam its recharged quick.
