But, com'on Apple, can't you at least put a plug in with the unit? Why do you have to charge ala carte for each needed accessory?

Super handy if you use your phone for work all day

Calls, emails, apps....all day. Usually by the afternoon I needed to plug in so I could get enough charge to finish the day. Having the mag safe charger on the desk is brilliant. It rapidly charges through my case, and I never have to worry about having a low battery by 4pm again.

I thought this would finally make sense for wireless charging, but seeing as wired charging saves a whole hour or more, I just don’t see the point. If you’re someone who finds wireless charging useful, then I think this is a great product.
