I have the ohsnap grip for my iPhone Pro 12, which comes with a metal ring and this charger works even with the metal ring on my case, given that the metal ring is centered properly. My only issue is that I wish it were longer, preferably 6ft, since there are times I'd like to use my phone while its charging.

Saves use on my lightning port which has in the past wore out before the actual phone does from always plugging in. Now I can just toss the phone on top of the charger at night even with the case on.

That aside its great to have that on a desk and just plug it on from behind, I mean its a novelty that will wear off soon after a months use but it is great.
