I am not an artist by any means, but I take a lot of notes on my iPad. The pencil have proven to be a valuable asset in taking notes and signing digital documents. The only complaint I have is that you plug the pencil into the iPad in order to make it work. This of course isn’t huge problem unless your iPad is in a case that doesn’t have a large enough area around the charging port to fit the pencil. Sort of a pain removing the case to turn on the pencil. Other than that, it’s great and a big help to have.

A very good pencil for use on the iPad Pro, and it's really likeable. Thin, responsive, and the ability to 'shade' with a tilted pencil make this worthwhile. The detractors on this item are the fact that you can't just invert the pencil to erase; the weak magnetic cap that covers the lightning adapter used to recharge; the tiny and completely losable adapter you must use to recharge it; and the fact that it constantly rolls everywhere. You can't just buy the pencil, you will need to buy a case or a cap saver, and also a clip or something to keep the pencil from rolling away.

First of all, its just a cool item. However, it does increase my drawing skills. Having the pencil has also increased my desire to draw and be more creative in general using the iPad pro as creative tool of choice. The pencil and iPad pro are new to me. So its kinda like a new toy. I'm still exploring its uses. I think that when I find an app that I really like, I will be using it more.

Apple pencil is a great addition for the iPad Pro. I have used it for jotting notes and coloring drawings. It is fun to use and there are a plethora of programs which take advantage of the Apple Pencil. Just remember to turn on Bluetooth before attempting to use the pencil. The package comes with an extra nib and a connector to connect the pencil to a lightning cable or directly to the iPad for regarging.

Being able to write on my iPad is a huge game changer! This pencil feels perfect in your hands, its smooth, lightweight, and feels premium. This is a TOOL and it revitalizes the way you can use your iPad, especially when it comes to sharing information with coworkers, friends and family. This pencil is a MUST HAVE for anyone who uses an iPad.

love it! sure to lose the little cap and lighting extension at some point but what can you do?

The Apple Pencil, 1sr Generation, is more fun than I even could have hoped! I love to use coloring apps and it’s the perfect tool - the fine point adds an ability to make a finer touch on the pictures. I also love that I can use it to write an email or a note, which is then transcribed to typed text. So much fun!

I have no beef with this pencil. I considered buying a cheap Amazon thing since I was trying to avoid paying the Apple price but I couldn't find anything that would really compare to this pencil. I pulled the trigger and am very pleased. I wish it came with an eraser attachment but that's my only problem with it. Battery life is great!

Its great with drawing and writing. The Battery lasts a long time.it feels good in your hand.

This pencil is amazing I use it constantly. I just bought this for my daughters iPad. My Apple pencil is 3 years old and as long as you change the tips they work well. There are several great free and paid apps for Apple Pencil and the top 3 rated paid apps are totally worth the price. Awesome product thanks Apple

This is a must have if taking notes is part of your work. You can keep all your notes organized and in all your devices. There are several apps out there very good in taking notes and many of them with goog handwriting recognition that allows you to change your handwriting into incredible notes. You can also annotate on images and on PDFs with it which is great when working on your research.

It's nice to have a real pen feel with a normal point and not a large rubber bulb tip.

Using the pencil for procreate to work on logos or artwork on the go. Very responsive, i have this charging while i setup my desk for drawing with the ipad, get something to drink. Should have a good charge by the time you sit down taking up that time. Feels pretty delicate so fear of it falling from any height i imagine would make it useless or difficult to use. I charge it by the adapter and cable, i dont like the feel of having it charge off the ipad itself, feels like the connector is going to snap.

I use my Apple Pencil every day. The tip tends to loosen sometimes, though, and has even come off in its case. Great for writing and drawing.
