The pencil itself is amazing. I bought the iPad/pen combo as I was beginning the school semester, and it has completely blown me away. It changed the way I take notes and im loving it. The pen itself is incredibly responsive and I prefer writing on the iPad vs. regular pen and paper. My only complaint with the pen is that it has no grip so it gets slippery sometimes. It made it uncomfortable writing for long periods of time. On the plus side, there are various rubber grips you can find that solve the problem and they're relatively cheap.

Apple Pencil is perfect with my iPad and I’ve really enjoyed using it. Battery life is great but every once in a while it takes a minute to connect to the iPad again. No big deal and will definitely recommend!

Okay I love the apple pen but I don’t like the idea of the cal being so small that no matter how cautious you are you will lose it and find it months later. They could have added something so it hangs onto the pen

I love the responsiveness of the pencil and it is easy to write with.

Even tho I like the pen and it does it's job well....the design, for the price is lacking. 1st off the cap reminds me of the early USB thumb drives. It detaches completely leaving it very easy to miss place when charging. There is no actual universal way to attach it to your Ipad unless you buy a case or a third party dumafloppy to hold it. As far as third party accessories....the pickin's are slim at this point. So for the price of the item....one would think that more thought would have gone into it. I would recommend it to a friend ....but tell them upfront of the issues.

I finally picked up this Apple Pencil after looking at it for a while and I'm glad I did. It's a great accessory for the iPad and a perfect tool for anyone in a creative field such as graphic design. It has a good weight and the set-up is simple! Highly recommended!

I use my pencil and iPad to take notes in my classes (using an app that lets me record the lecture as well) and it’s just like using pen and paper except BETTER! I can go back and review what the lecturer was saying during the exact time that I was writing certain notes, and there’s no clutter of notebooks and papers in my backpack!

I bought this pencil to work with an iPad Pro 12.9". I am not an artist, and do not draw. I do, however, like to work through math and science problems using a pencil and piece of paper. The larger surface of the 12.9" iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil finally make this work possible on a digital device! I use the built-in Notes app, and find the "palm rejection" technology a real game changer. Being able to rest my hand on the screen while writing does wonders for legibility while also keeping my arm from getting tired. I expect the next version of IOS will only make the Notes app better and more functional. The pencil itself fits my hand well; and as advertised the pointing accuracy and low latency are a joy to use. Note: because of complaints I had read about the pencil rolling freely and having no place to store it, I purchased a silicon sleeve that contains a magnet (from Amazon). It gives the pencil a nice non-slip surface, keeps it from rolling, and enables me to affix the pencil to the top of the iPad when not in use.

The pencil works great! It came already charged and all I had to do was to pair it with my iPad and it was ready to go. I got it with in store pick up and my order was ready within an hour. I'm very pleased with how smooth the entire transaction process was and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Worked well. Opted for the newer version to use with new iPad.

My daughter got this so she can draw and doodle on her iPad and she thinks that this is magic! She is always doing “magic” on her iPad and sending pictures to people. It keeps her interest for hours! As her iPad gets upgraded, I am glad that they are upgrading the pencils too. This is something that will definitely be bought again!

Sucks they came out with a new version that won’t work with the older iPad Pro. And the price is high but love the functionality.

I am a first year student med student and I cannot believe how much this has changed the way I study. I always learned best by writing down notes, but it is impossible to keep up with medical lectures, let alone all the paper used. This allows me to still write all the notes I need, highlight, and use detail I didn't even know I could do. I would suggest this to all students!

No complaints except for the way it charges. It’s easy to lose the cap at the tip when you charge it, so I got a case to store it in (which is a good idea regardless if you’re a student like me who has it in a backpack). Otherwise, great sleek design, charges very fast, and perfect performance on the iPad.

This stylus works great with my iPad Pro. The only problem is the cap is very easy to lose or fall off. Getting a proper replacement cap isn't easy. Its easy to accidentally bend the pencil mid charge if plugged into the tablet. Charging through the tablet is too awkward and the little adaptor for the usb connector is too small and easy to lose. The latest iPad Pro changed this flaw by making the new model 2 pencils charge connected to the side of the iPad.
