Very precise, easy to use, and has a long battery with pretty fast charging.

Annoyingly Apple decided to male the Gen 2 Pencil exclusive to the Ipad Pro so I'm grateful we can still purchase the Gen 1 to use with all other Ipad models. Like anything Apple of course it's hard to justify the price but it really does work better than any other stylus I've ever used with any other tablet/phone etc. If you are the creative type and love to draw or write this will 100% be worth it for how well it works.

Easy to use feels nice while holding and is very responsive in screen

Saw the pencil on line and had to have it so I looked up the price and noticed it was $100.00 so I debated for a few months so on Father's Day my wife purchased it for me and I love it and would trade it for the world cause you can pinpoint exactly where you need it instead of hitting the wrong letter and have to go back and delete and is great for sketching and drawing it's awesome.

The weight is nice, charges quickly, writes well! No complaints.

The pencil is very useful with the iPad and gives you the ability to freehand draw or take notes.

I have been looking for that perfect stylus and this is it! I do a lot of sketching on my iPad Pro and have been extremely happy with it. Others don't protect against your hand on the screen which drives me nuts. It writes and draws very smoothly and it does act like a regular pencil or pen or brush. The only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't work on my older iPad.

This pencil is easy to use and shows the charge level on my iPad. I am not a fast at typing and this pencil is comfortable to hold and makes typing easy. Using the pencil keeps the screen free of smudges and fingerprints. I recommend this product for use with any touchscreen Apple products

All excellent remarks, very happy with the quality and ease of use. The accuracy and speed is so fast and crisp I don’t see the need for the new model. The only con is the charging vulnerability’s, I also wish it was a more textile finish instead of a eggshell. It can slip out of my hand.

It works. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 in Space Gray and the fingerprints...oh the fingerprints! This minimizes the fingerprint situation a lot. It also comes in handy for taking notes, drawing, etc, etc. It fully charges in about 10 minutes and lasts a good 12+ hours. Definitely get this if you own an iPad Pro.

The apple pencil works great with the ipad pro. Its responsive and easy to write with. I would like to compare it to the apple pencil 2. If you want the latest and greatest technology go with the apple pencil 2, if you want a functional easy to use pencil that gets the job done for a cheaper price than the apple pencil 2, go with this one.

I really wonder why it took so long to put a hard tip stylus to market. I’ve never been impressed with the soft, hollow tip styluses I tried before this apple pen. This pen really facilitates quick document mark ups, e-signatures etc. Great product with its native apple price point. $$$

This pencil makes everything about iPad better. Taking hand written notes is much less stressful then trying to type and the balance of the pencil let me take notes for a 5 day seminar this month without getting writers cramp. Makes underlining or marking up even easier and more precise
