At the time this seemed to be the only "officially" compatible pen for the iPad Pro. Works good, but it would be nice if softer tips were available.

Great functionality, operation is seamless Ang great responsiveness. It is big, but it fits inside of the outter box case we got for it. It's too big of an accessory in my opinion should have been some type of on board storage for it. I don't necessarily like the way that it charges from the iPad, but not a deal breaker. There's a lot of apps that you can use this with. Great art work tool, my daughter loves to draw with it and color.

Although the price is a bit steep, it's definitely been worth it. As a college student I've always like the idea of keeping all my notes on one thing, but formatting in a word document always messed me up. Because of the Palm rejection through Apple Pencil and the iPad Pro, I can now keep all my notes on one device, and have the convenience of handwriting as opposed to typing.

I have had iPads since they came out. With the iPad Pro, the Apple Pencil has replaced all the styluses I used; Wacom, pencil 53, etc. Noting is as precise. I find I still need my artist glove when using it for certain applications. I wish it were thicker and had a clip. To protect it, I purchased a case for it. To prevent it from rolling off my desk, I attached the rubber grip from an old pen. I also purchased an inexpensive kit from Amazon that includes a silicone Cap Holder, Nib Cover, and a Lightning Cable Adapter Tether.

This pencil makes using the iPad Pro so much nicer. I put off getting it for awhile then decided to try it and am so glad I did! I have an Otterbox defender on my iPad Pro as well as a screen protector and sometimes I had to touch the screen a few times to get what I wanted but with this it is so simple. I love being able to use it for other apps as well. It's awesome!! Try it!!!

I was debating whether or not to purchase this product in store. However, after having a discussion with one of the staff members and a few other shoppers also interested in this device I ended up purchasing it. Long story short I LOVE IT! When taking notes it is just like writing with a pen and paper or pencil and paper. I can draw and write and best of all have all my notes in one place ON MY iPad! Only negative is that the protective ends get lost easily so be aware of that.

I bought the Apple Pencil to try with my new 10.5"iPad Pro. In the past I had used a passive stylus then upgraded to the Adonit Pixel active stylus. I was very pleasedwith the pixel mainly because it worked with ALL my products. This pencil was a total surprise anda joy to vse. The feel of writing on the screen is the closest yet to a natural feel - no more accentuated writing due to latency and slippery tips! Add the fact that Apple has greater control over the integration and you get a natural writing implement experience.

Annoyingly Apple decided to male the Gen 2 Pencil exclusive to the Ipad Pro so I'm grateful we can still purchase the Gen 1 to use with all other Ipad models. Like anything Apple of course it's hard to justify the price but it really does work better than any other stylus I've ever used with any other tablet/phone etc. If you are the creative type and love to draw or write this will 100% be worth it for how well it works.

This is a very handy tool when using my iPad. I am a bit disappointed by the battery life and would have preferred the end of the Pencil be able to be connected to a power supply instead of the main charging method being charging into my iPad. Then make the adapter extension piece be the opposite type of the current extension connector piece. Also, the adapter, extension piece is so small, afraid that is going to get lost. Hopefully batter life has been improved with v.2
