Apple does contradict it self when they didn’t want to use a stylus however, it works great. This version of the pencil does not have a magnet therefore it wont stick to your iPad unless you buy the 2 gen of the Apple Pencil. I bought this one because its within my budget and did not want to pay $200 for the 2 gen pencil.

I have both series one and two pencils and I will say the cap for this one is easily lost. Works great and responsive.

The apple pen was very simple to connect. It also was soooo easy to use and my daughter loves it sooooo much. It was very easy to draw with the price was a little expensive but in the end just to see my daughters smile I would’ve paid double.

The Apple Pencil for the iPad Pro 2 12.9" is a wonderful tool. I have used it for designing, drawing, coloring and more. The only drawback, that you would have with any battery operated cordless pen is that the charge doesn't last extremely long. Long enough for things that I need to do however someone who has more tasks to do with the pen might find the charge not enough. With that said, all you have to do is plug the pen into the lightning port on the iPad Pro 2 and it charges fairly fast. Good Pen. Needs a longer charge life.

Absolutely love this item. I was originally on the fence and never bought one finally got around to using it and it is amazing I’m use it all the time for taking notes at work in OneNote that sync straight to my computer.

Bought the pen for my nieces iPad 3, works why better than the off brands. recommended. only issue is how you have to charge it, comes with an adapter. not to much of a issue for an adult, but my niece is only 11 and she tends to miss place the adapter. Recommended

Pen/pencil works great and charges fast but the cap is loose and for $100 this should have a built in tether. Had to buy one separately.

I've tried similar products and returned all of them because of the precision of the writing. I didn't expect much better from this Apple Pencil. I was happier surprised though. This pencil is everything and more than I wanted. The only thing I would suggest is buying something to keep the cap attached. I spent $10 at Best Buy and bought one and it works great.

Although your fingers might suffice with everyday iPad use, the pencil is great when working with apps that require precision and detail. For example, it is more specific than my fingertip when using the Cricut app to create designs. If you are any kind of designer, the pencil is worth it.

I recently bought the Apple Pencil in hopes of using it to takes notes, so that I could store the notes in digital format to have readily available for future reference. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I used the Apple Pencil along with the Notability App. It's very responsive and I used the Apple pencil throughout an entire day of note taking.
