No,really. Cons: Smooth and rolls off a desk. Once it slipped off my trouser pocket! Now using it with a Pentel click pencil's pocket clipper - the little thing thats on top, charging is a little awkward Pros: Amazing handwriting, easy pairing with any iPad, hundreds of apps, iOS11 amazing features added for pencil, perfect weight and height

Great accessory and the best stylus out there as far as responsiveness. But needs a better way to charge and the cap is too easy to lose.

The Apple Pencil is awesome! The sensitivity is great. The ability to write with a narrow more realistic taper tipped Apple Pencil vs a huge nubby stylus is one of my favorite things about the iPad Pro. The Apple Pencil is weighted like a real executive pen, not a cheap hollow stylus. It's the length of an actual pen. It is much easier to use than a stylus!

The pencil is very accurate and work great with my iPad Pro. I love it.

Got this to pair with my iPad for my graphic design classes in college. Adobe is making this more and more useful by the day and even though this is gen 1 it still does a great job. Shocked by the use i got out of this thing. No more hand drawing and scanning. Amazing tool.

I know that there are a bunch of very similar knock-offs to this product. But NOTHING compares! This is a must-have for any iPad (look for compatibilities) user that wants to get the max usage out of their device! The only bummer is the way it charges but easy to overlook.

Pricey but worth it. After making purchase, very excited about use of the pen. But after, would be the one that would receive a dead pen out of the box. After trying numerous times to make it work, nothing. But returning it next day getting new pen, WOW!!!!! I’m a photographer and being able to use pen on location and do editing is great!!!

I've been using the apple pen since I bought the iPad Pro 12.9 on Black Friday. I'm still working on drawing on the iPad but I find the pen to be very accurate when drawing lines and writing. Maybe would be cool if the other end was like an eraser. Overall a pleasant experience and no real complaints.

It does everything that's advertised. I was apprehensive at first but, I went ahead a bought it. I'm happy with it I'm able to doodle during meetings and take freehand notes. I haven't been able to take advantage of all the apps yet but it does what I need it to do. Btw the battery life is very long and it only take a minute or two to charge back up. Good buy

I had wondered what Inwas missing before upgrading to the iPad Pro. Well, the use of an Apple Pencil is a far bigger advantage than I ever would have guessed! I am enjoying exploring all the various uses, from a simple stylus, to a fine-tuned tool for art, note taking, and graphic design. I look forward to learning far more uses as time goes by!

I’ll be honest. It took me awhile to get use to this. The feeling of using it to write on a glass tablet is just different. I write on notebook paper all the time so I figured this would make life easier. Less clutter and more organized. It does just that once you get accustomed to the feeling. It’s no longer awkward and it becomes second nature. Highly recommend. Just give yourself time to adjust.

I’m so happy that I decided to purchase this. It has definitely made drawing & writing on my iPad a lot easier than the stylus I was using. It feels like I’m using a real pencil, it’s not too heavy and it’s not too light. Very easy to set up and use right from the start.

Excellent. Since online schooling my daughter has relied heavily on her IPAD for completing homework assignments. It worked flawlessly right out of the box. Definitely recommend. Just be sure to check what model IPAD you have to make sure you purchase appropriate model.

My daughter uses this with her iPad Pro and loves it! No complaints, although you do have to keep track of one little piece. I asked her what it was when I saw it on her side table and she said it goes to her Apple pencil and not to lose it! I suggested she find a tin or little box to put it in so it doesn't get lost.
