Arguably the most key difference for me between the iPad and the iPad Pro besides size is the ability to use the Apple Pencil. It is so accurate and precise that it makes using a stylist worth it. It's a game changer for me and I love it.

Doesn't work as good as I thought it would but so much better then using your finger. It is better for drawing apps and things of that nature but writing isn't too much better then before. I don't know if it is worth the $100 but it is pretty cool. Only thing is it is pretty easy to lose and come with small pieces that could definitely be lost.

It works great! The only flaw I see in the Apple Pencil is the fact that you will have to charge it on your iPad with it sticking out awkwardly. It comes with a adapter to plug into a lightning cable so you can charge it through a outlet but most of the time it’s more convenient to charge it on the iPad than looking for a outlet. The battery life will last you about 12 hrs so that won’t be that much of a problem.

I have owned both the Logitech crayon and the Apple Pencil. Both work well but the pressure sensitivity on the Apple Pencil is a real win. The Apple Pencil is also more comfortable to draw and write with. After using both I have to say Apple got it right. Just buy it and you’ll be glad you did.

Apple takes the time to make sure things work well and are easy to use. The pencil is no exception. Too bad it is so expensive.

A little awkward to use at first but if you use it for the right application it works well it’s pretty precise recommend getting tip covers to protect the screen and pencil tip recommend a case for it and the special adapter so you can use the iPhone charger and cable

Pencil is accurate on the iPad Pro. The sharp edge provides great detailing with any digital art apps. Only con is it's a bit long.

This pen is ok. It is to long and over priced are my only gripes. Should be about 1.5 inches shorter and cost about 30 bucks. Drawing with it is sometimes a challenge. I’m still learning how to use it. After owning it for a couple of weeks I wouldn’t buy it again. Not worth $100.

This pencil has two sensors, one for pressure and one for angle. It works really well for writing and drawing. The pressure sensor allows drawing bold and thin lines, while the angle sensor allows the you to color, shade and add gradient tones. It has great sensitivity.

There is no lag when using this stylus and it's light. Only problem is how apple chose to charge these things.

I am an artist and recently bought the iPad 8th gen to do digital art. I use it mostly with the Procreate app, which is definitely worth the money as well! The Apple pencil works smoothly and has pressure sensitivity which makes creating art really satisfying!

Bought my seventeen-year-old boy the Apple Pencil 1st generation to accompany his new iPad. He loves to draw and with this combo he can also take notes. He will definitely get more use when he begins college next year. He loves the pencil and has told me it works perfectly.
