The Apple pencil is sensitive and accurate. I would like to see a better means to charge the device. You can plug it into the iPad but you have to remove a little cap which is easily lost or with a phone charger using a little female to female including adapter which is, again, easily lost.

Very happy with our purchase of the Apple Pencil. My grandchildren use it all the time on my iPad and play games, draw and other activities. We have purchased two iPads and pencils and have very please with each one. We would definitely recommend these items to our friends and families.

I had read what this product was and read some reviews, I have read and heard all good things about the Apple Pencil. I bought it and I loved it but the only reason I returned it was because I didn't use it as much as I thought I would have. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to write, draw, color, etc.

The pen works great for writing and coloring (for the wife). Just as if you were using a real pen. Plus you get to choose if you want it to behave like a pencil, a paint brush, a marker pen, etc. You can select the color saturation and line width. All without your pen drying up or having to sharpen a pencil.

Xmas gift for the wife to go with her iPad Pro purchased earlier this year. The open box deal was a nice discount and the Apple Pencil functioned without issue. It's not necessarily a need to have but a nice to have for the new iPad Pro, especially as more apps come out that utilize the pencil.

Happen to buy this for my kid to operate IPAD and you know what she enjoys operating the IPAD with ease using this amazing product pencil. At least through her hands I feel that she has advanced taking this up to perform additional actions like controlling and operating different application software ....

As someone who has been in search of the holy grail of the perfect stylus, I am amazed how well this pencil works. I have purchased most every variation of passive and active touch capacitive stylus ever made, looking to take notes on my iPad. My search is over, this works well, no input lag, good feel on screen.

Very accurate and great pointing device. Could use the ability to turn on and off. Battery life good though.

Best Buy staff listened to what I was doing transcribing historic script hand documents and codes—and suggested this “magic pen”—that highlights, erases, allows me to write along with the transcription! Unbelievable—easy to use and totally cool!

I got this for my 7th generation iPad. It works amazing and definitely makes the experience with my iPad even better. I would recommend if you have the extra money to get an iPad Pro and get the new Apple Pen. The functionality and magnetic integration is significantly more thorough. Only complaint would probably that there is no easy way to see what the current battery level is.

I love using this to color and sketch on my iPad. The pencil holds a charge for a long time. Also comes with an extra tip. Apparently over time the tip can wear down and should be replaced to prevent damaging the iPad screen. I highly recommend this product.

I am ever so pleased with the Apple Pencil , it is not just a stylus, it works like a full writing pen or pencil. I was worried I would have buyers remorse after buying it, but I love it and learning how to use it better everyday.

This is an incredible tool that we illustrators have all been waiting for. I haven’t noticed any lag while drawing and the parallax is not noticeable. This pencil is on apr if not better than a Wacom pen. My only gripe is that the tip tends to unscrew while drawing and that I wish it had options for a textured tip to give some drag while drawing.

I create digital art for film storyboards, and this is by far the best digital pencil I have ever used. It is the most realistic feeling in the hand to a real pencil, has perfect weight distribution, and the pressure sensing tip has no comparison!

excellent pencil for your Apple products. I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it! Easy to use and feels like if you are writing with an actual pencil. The reaction time is quick and well wourth the price.

Wacom did have the first tilt pen that I used years ago, but it's nice to get it on a tablet form that doesn't cost as much as a Cintiq did back then. Pressure is detection is near perfect. The only thing I needed was a screen protector to add a little resistance to make it feel more like writing on paper. I wish they'd offer different nibs like the old Galaxy note tablets had to mimic felt, pencil, and pen.

Works great, but charging it can be awkward. Knew this when purchasing that it goes into the iPad, but in practice its a little odd. Might have upgraded to 2nd version in retrospect. Also easy to lose, especially with kids. Works great, however might consider upgrading if you are concerned about losing an expensive pen.

If you are serious about your art, the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil are the best choice. Bought this for my wife, who never done digital art before. Within weeks she was drawing hundreds of life like animal portraits. A professional artist commented her work would be goid enough to sell. This is a great tool.

I've enjoyed a decent writing experience with the Apple Pencil overall. It's certainly better than any fat tipped instruments I've tried with previous iPad models. It writes smoothly and feels comfortable in my hand. Connection loss after the iPad sleeps is annoying, as is the need to constantly charge it. The cap is easy to misplace. Lastly, I wish I could just flip it to the cap end to erase. Alas, it's not yet a Digital Ticonderoga #2.

I bought the Apple Pencil for a specific work purpose- so my clients could sign contracts online, and their signature would be much more legible than using their finger to sign. I’m enjoying finding other ways to use it, and hopefully that use will only expand as more apps are integrated with it.
