I am NOT an Apple person but the Apple pencil and the iPad are the best tools for digital artists on a (slight) budget. I wish the cap that goes over the charger was a little more secure but overall it's a savior for my art

Love this pen. Glides easy and so great to use! I wish I knew earlier that it was so easy to use, and works this good.

This stylist really completes the iPad Pro. It is great for taking notes while in class and is able to keep up with my handwriting speed. It's a little odd at first because there's less friction on the surface than if you were writing on paper with a regular pencil but once you get past that it's brilliant.

Love this product works very well and can use it over and over without any problems. I did want to buy the off-brand but since I am new to Apple I just decided to get the Apple brand one so that I do not have any issues.

I have used other pointing devices on an iPad and this is CLEARLY the best option. It is pricy, but I think the experience is well worth the cost. My kids use on iPads for school and both (ages 11 and 14) think it is "the bomb".

Caught up in the excitement of my new iPad Pro so I just had to get the Apple Pencil (S. Jobs would be disappointed, I know). Works great in Notes app, takes some work and research to find other apps to get the most out of it. A fun addition but not necessary for everyday users. Great tool for design types.

If you’re scrolling reviews trying to find out if this is truly as responsive as advertised—stop scrolling now. This product is the real deal and with the new low-price Apple iPad, why not? Get the pencil and put a “check” in the spoiled box with your new Apple Pencil. You deserve it.

It is a great tool for some one who prefer to write notes on your device as a pen. Though the Apple Notes app has its limitations, but I found Micro Soft Notes to be more helpful. I understand it is a great tool for free hand artists, however, I solely purchased the item for note taking and scribbling.

Great for writing on your ipad . You can make notes and even draw on photos on photo roll if you are so artistically inclined. Doesn't hold charge long when not in use but if you run out you plug it into lightning connector of device and after I believe 30 seconds you get some more juice. I got this one because I have the 6th generation iPad. Had the Logitech Crayon. This is by far superior.I am very pleased with this and I'm also glad I was able to grab it in an "open box" so I was able to save a few bucks.

This apple pencil works wellon my new ipad air latest gen. Best Buy offers great customer service in helping me troubleshooting the issue with ipad air not connecting to apple pencil. Turned out the issue was with Ipad air, not the pencil.

The apple pencil has almost no lag. I've tested some note apps. Onenote is not perfectly compatible with apple pencil. It recognize some drawing curves as straight lines, so the handwriting is terrible. I strongly recommend notability, the handwriting is almost no difference to a real pencil.

Must buy if you love drawling , & being creative. This Apple Pencil is perfect for kids as well. Instead of wasting paper , use your iPad with your pencil and save your creations! It’s a win , win! I am a nanny and this tool has made it easy for working on homework as well.

I purchased this for my mother in law as a companion product to the iPad min (latest generation). Although she is not an artist, she loves being able to use it as an extension of her finger for lounging around to play games or manipulate web pages.

Great companion for the iPad 8th generation iPad, really easy to use and feels great to write on, only downside is how you charge it, through the bottom of the iPad; what was apple thinking? Oh well at least its really good

I purchased the pencil because of the great reviews; however the pen is not what it's cracked up to be. Unlike the Samsung Note products or even the SBP4 4, the Apple pencil needs work. I purchased this primarily to take with me to draw mostly and take notes but it wasn't worth the investment. The pencil is very limited in comparison to the other aforementioned brands.

My son is using this for iPad Academy program at his high school and didn't think he needed it. I insisted he get it because I know how much digital art and doodling he enjoys doing. He says that it has great pressure sensitivity and feels like you are using a pencil. Very comfortable, too!

The Apple Pencil is a great addition to the IPad. I’ve used it with several different apps and found no problems with any of them. It charges quickly just plugging it in to the IPad or via its charger. It’s connects within seconds just by plugging it into the lightning port.

I like this item a lot because there is so much to do with it on the iPad Pro. You can sketch, write hand written notes, and even use it as a stylus. It’s good for being a college student with professors drawing charts and stuff so that I can use my actual handwriting to draw the chart.

I like the way the tool writes on the pad. However the only thing i don’t like is that i don’t know when it needs charged. There’s no indicator or at least i have not found one. I tend to bring the little connector with me and charge in between appointments just be safe. I also am afraid of losing the cap and adapter since they’re so small. Although the pad remembers the pencil, every once in a while you have to plug in pad.
