I have used other pointing devices on an iPad and this is CLEARLY the best option. It is pricy, but I think the experience is well worth the cost. My kids use on iPads for school and both (ages 11 and 14) think it is "the bomb".

Bought this for an iPad and works well for drawing and playing games. Stays charged well.

I am NOT an Apple person but the Apple pencil and the iPad are the best tools for digital artists on a (slight) budget. I wish the cap that goes over the charger was a little more secure but overall it's a savior for my art

It's a nice addition to go along with the iPad Pro. But a little on the expensive side for an upgraded stylus. I'm no artist, but it does work great for PDF editing, notes and everything else you would need for meetings and school. With that said, the price is steep if that is all you plan on doing with it. I'm not taking it back since it's already paid for and in use, but keep that in mind if you know what you plan on using it for.

Still getting acquainted with the Pen but so far I like it. It is easy to use and to charge.

I purchased this for my mother in law as a companion product to the iPad min (latest generation). Although she is not an artist, she loves being able to use it as an extension of her finger for lounging around to play games or manipulate web pages.

Just about perfect. I take all of my notes for work on. Writes very smooth and isn’t too loud when writing on iPad. Great sensitivity. Now I’m just trying to figure out my preferred note taking app. Also now experimenting with drawing tools for art. This is also great for photo editing.

Love this product works very well and can use it over and over without any problems. I did want to buy the off-brand but since I am new to Apple I just decided to get the Apple brand one so that I do not have any issues.

This apple pencil works wellon my new ipad air latest gen. Best Buy offers great customer service in helping me troubleshooting the issue with ipad air not connecting to apple pencil. Turned out the issue was with Ipad air, not the pencil.

As an artist the pencil was mandatory the cost was as expected the quality is very good this is the first generation. considered getting the second but honestly I have not had a moment of doubt with the first charges quick runs for a long time works fantastic

Great for writing. Easy to charge. If you are not drawing with it , it is not worth the price.

I bought this with my iPad Pro and it works like a champ. It charges extremely quickly after it dies so you can dive right back into creating with your iPad.The only down side is the little cap on the end could easily be lost. Knock on wood this has not happened to me yet.

I love my iPad and having the pencil makes it just so much more enjoyable. If you have an iPad but not an Apple Pencil, you’re doing it wrong

I got this one because I have the 6th generation iPad. Had the Logitech Crayon. This is by far superior.I am very pleased with this and I'm also glad I was able to grab it in an "open box" so I was able to save a few bucks.

Bought this to go with the iPad I got my sister for Christmas, she loves it! She has even gotten back into art as a result of having the pencil to use. No issues connecting and decent battery life.

Great for writing on your ipad . You can make notes and even draw on photos on photo roll if you are so artistically inclined. Doesn't hold charge long when not in use but if you run out you plug it into lightning connector of device and after I believe 30 seconds you get some more juice. Great companion for the iPad 8th generation iPad, really easy to use and feels great to write on, only downside is how you charge it, through the bottom of the iPad; what was apple thinking? Oh well at least its really good

I love this Apple Pencil! It works great with my iPad and I have had no issues. Very helpful for fun with drawing and for marking up pdfs and other documents. Only downside is the price. Since it is the 1st generation the price is still high.

We helped my son purchase an iPad for his graduation gift. He's an aspiring artist, so the matching Apple Pencil was a no-brainer. He is enjoying exploring the possibilities of the software without the hardware getting in the way. The feel on the tablet is spot on; neither too skittery nor too sticky.
