If you’re purchasing or own a compatible iPad, you should absolutely get this as well. I am not good at drawing and my handwriting is garbage. But this little device has allowed me to create some really cool things I otherwise would only have wished I could attempt to make.

It feels like I'm using a pen writing on my iPad Pro. Pretty cool. Syncs quickly and charges fast.

I purchased this as a way to make grading papers easier. I'm so glad I did! This is much more precise than using my finger to write on my iPad, as I had been. I'd definitely recommend this product for teachers grading papers remotely.

The pencil is the perfect companion to the iPad Pro. I'm a graphic designer/artist and this saves me a lot of time when I need to go from concept to computer. Its almost like your drawing in vector so to speak. So once I sketch with the lovely pencil I transfer to Adobe illustrator and boom.

Great except for minor issue....To pair this pen to my iPad, I must remove the cap and place the male lightning connector on the pen into the female lightning port on the iPad. I have a cover on my iPad. So everyday I must remove the cover to re-pair the pen to the iPad. Once paired, not sure why it looses the pairing every time you power down the iPad??????

Awesome!! Works great with the IPad. If you are in college or any type of school it is great to take notes with.

The apple pen writes great, just doesn't erase.It writes smoothly like a fine pen point and honestly no other pen could beat it if its especifically for ipad use. I use it for school notes and meetings. As a JW i even use it for those meetings to take notes. I would have given it 5 stars if it would let me erase without having to touch erase icon and so forth. After all its pretty costy for it to not have such eraser

This works well for drawing and other apps. The price is a bit much.

Before I purchased the Apple Pencil I was skeptical of how useful and durable it would be. I checked it over in a Best Buy store by looking at one and handling it to get the feel of it in my hand. I liked the tactile feeling and decided to go by the Apple Store to get a Genius perspective. What I got was an uneducated/non-genius “Uh, it’s my lunchtime” look from the Apple employee. So I went back to Best Buy. A gentleman who I saw looking over a Mac laptop was engaged in conversation about the Apple Pencil. He didn’t have a good experience with it and didn’t know if he would buy it again. He said the battery didn’t last, but admitted it could have been his fault. He charged it once, then didn’t use it for over six months. I went ahead and got one. Keep it charged and haven’t had any problems. It’s so much easier to use than my fingertips. Works great with Microsoft OneNote. Would definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

This product is something that I thought was not necessary. On the contrary it is absolutely a very useful tool that compliments the iPad Pro. Easy to use and brings out a new side of the Apple iPad Pro and what it could do. I would recommend this for note takers, artists, and more.

Pencil works great on my iPad Pro but come on Apple, make this compatible to my iPhone 7plus. it would be great to use with my credit card app. Battery life when not in use went down after about a day and a half. :(

I really wanted to stop using paper and pencil in school and this has helped my transition perfectly. I absolutely love this pencil. This pencil could use some buttons to help quickly transition though pencil settings but this is a great start for Apple.

Just got the Apple Pencil to complement the iPad, 7th gen. I couldn't be more pleased to use for multi tasking and using to click without your fingers and getting the screen all dirty. It's awesome, and the salesperson that helped was awesome!!

This Apple Pencil is perfect for the earlier iPads. I made the mistake of buying the 2nd Gen and it turns out that I needed the 1st Gen. Once the pencil was charged, it easily connected to the iPad and worked smoothly.

Great for any iPad user looking for additional productivity. Helpful when making notations and also extremely easy to use and pair with an iPad. Great battery life that only needs to be charged occassionaly. Would certainly recommend the product.

I honestly didn’t want to buy this at first when I bought my iPad. Like what does it do that my finger or a cheap stylus do? But I’m really glad I bought it! I have Microsoft on my iPad and it’s REALLY great with excel! It’s also really great when I have long nails.

Purchased as a birthday gift for a friend. She loved it and uses it for her iPad, and iPhone.

This is the most useful tool that Apple has ever put out. Since I’m unable to type, the fact that I can just write in whatever I want and it will turn it into typed print is amazing. It is well worth the cost

After purchasing this pencil, I have found myself getting back into my artistic side. There is almost no latency while drawing. I'm using it on the new 10.5 inch iPad so I'm sure the iPad has something to with the speed. But this pencil was very accurate, sleek looking and functional. My only complaint is that the cat covering the charger is just a little loose fitting. It has a magnetic clasp so whenever falls off.

Yeah, it feels more like a pencil or pen and easy to pair but there's nothing more special than that to justfy the price. Get the Logitech Crayon, save a few bucks and don't have to worry about losing the stupidly awkward charging adapter that comes with the Apple overpriced nonsense.
