Love the pencil!!! I have the 10.5 iPad Pro and I use the pencil almost everyday for simple note taking or sketching in my spare time. It’s Apple so it’s expected that a freaking “pencil”(stylus) costs $99 but if you can catch it on sale and you have the pro it’s well worth it!!! The touch sensitivity is very accurate and it’s like pen to paper but digital. Very accurate!!! It charges very quickly with the lightning port. Unsure of the exact time they give but i plug it in for about 15 minutes and it’s fully charged for a few days!!! I bought the cap keeper because it isn’t as secure as I’d like and has fallen off like 4 times but otherwise very happy.

Apple Pencil sets a new standard for drawing, taking notes, and annotating documents: intuitive, precise, and fun. It has an almost imperceptible sense of delay, pixel-level accuracy, sensitive tilt angle and pressure sensitivity, and supports anti-palm accidental touch. All this makes it particularly handy to use, so whenever inspiration arises, you can capture it at will.

Now that the product is in my hand it's great! There's not a stylus I've used that is better and I have more than a dozen styluses! I love the weight and the smoothness and the pressure sensitivity is spot on! The only bad thing I can say about it is how long it took to get one!

Works great. Easy to use and connect. Battery power is great and stays on longer than I expected. This is my first time using an ipencil and i am not disappointed.

I was so excited that the 2018 9.7 iPad supported Apple Pencil (1st gen only), that I had to have it. It's nice as a stylus, but honestly I don't use it very much. I would recommend a Bluetooth Keyboard and good case before purchasing this pricey accessory. The Logitech Crayon will work, but with limited function, so research that also. If you do get the Apple Pencil I highly recommend the "Insignia" cap keeper. You can see it attached to my Pencil in the pics. Check out YouTube videos about the pencil and decide if you will use it enough to justify the cost.

I bought this Apple Pencil after buying an iPad Pro to utilize some of the art and illustration capabilities of the device. I have been vey impressed with the ease of use and the precise control. It's very responsive and more like using paper/pencil/pen/paint as a medium. Highly recommend.

I love using this on my ipad. It is just like using an actual pencil. It is extremely accurate with what I am writing. It charges so fast as well, in like 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend if you are someone who takes notes for school, really helps in using less paper.

Good weight and ergonomically comfortable. No problems with connection. Cap did have a problem snapping flush so I removed it and got a third party cap.

Oh how I have waited for something like this. I have dreamed of a pen like this to do art with ever since I first saw animators using Wacom pens. Alas, Wacom is out of my budget range but this I could afford with some careful planning. It is a must have for beginning to intermediate digital artists.

This is a great styli’s pen. Perfect for any IPad. Plus you can do a lot of things that seemed like they were impossible to do on a iPad. It’s also a lot better to use than your finger. It’s also rechargeable and the tips are replaceable should you damage them.

My boyfriend recently bought me an ipad for mothers day and ordered a 3rd party stylus to go with it. I use it mostly for illustrating and design. While I enjoyed the 3rd party stylus, I knew that it could not perform the same way an apple pencil could with the pressure sensitivity and angled strokes on the ipad. I went ahead and purchased myself an apple pencil. It is the best investment I've made so far. It came with an extra nib and a female to female connector for charging. The entire set up was easy and I was able to start drawing right away. It does feel a bit heavier than a regular pencil would, but you grow with it.

I absolutely LOVE my Apple Pencil. I literally will not use my iPad without it. Super easy to use. You can also change the sensitivity to your preference. My most favorite part? It charges WICKED FAST and lasts a prettt long time on a charge!! I’ve also gotten so much more creative digitally than I ever thought I could

It works and performs as it should. I use it a lot since I do digital art on my iPad. If you try to substitute this with a cheap stylus you proli wont get the tilt and pressure features this offers. My main criticism is with the design of the stylus itself. Since it's fully rounded it rolls easily. Mine rolled and the tip of my stylus broke - (not the most durable thing ever so as with all Apple devices: don't drop it) I thought I couldnt fix it the way it broke off so I purchased a 2nd stylus, but ended up getting the broken piece of the nib out and replacing it. Thank goodness for the extra nib they included with this. I dont see it as a huge waste just because i am an artist and I appreciate having a back-up. Charging it is the DUMBEST experience ever. It sticks off from the port just waiting for you to make a wrong move and break it. Also it's very easy to lose the cap so please be mindful when you take it off.

I love this Apple Pencil. I don’t draw as much as used to, but I use it for general purposes, jigsaw puzzles and such. But my advice is if you don’t have a screen protector, you need to also purchase the rubber nibs, because the tip seems too be a little too abrasive for the screen. It comes with an extra tip and an adapter for your lightning cable (female on both ends with a barely visible O to put the lighting cable in), but it’s not necessary. I charge mine on my iPad or iPhone, which only takes about 30 minutes. Overall, it’s been worth the purchase.

My son is a high school student who is learning virtually. He uses this to take notes for class on his ipad. It makes clear lines. He is happy with this. Also, Best Buy price was cheaper than Amazon. There were complaints on Amazon that the product received was not an authentic apple product. At least I know that I am getting authentic Apple products from Best Buy.

The Apple Pencil paired with the Good Notes app is a match only found using the iPad and makes taking notes in college a cinch. The only trouble? It costs $100 and isn’t completely life-proof. I accidentally sat on mine breaking the tip - while totally my fault, I do wish it would have been cheaper to replace and have more replaceable parts instead of being useless once broken...

Always had a Samsung Note 1 - 7 (yes even the one that exploded) even had a Samsung Tab 10.1 and loved the pen and it's functionality with Android. Only down side with Apple is that you can't truly multitask with every app but at least there are certain apps that let you easily use side by side. With the Apple Pencil you can easily charge and connect it to an iPad Pro. I also bought a UAG case for my iPad Pro that has a Pen holder slot so that's very useful as well, which I'd highly recommend as well as a pen cap saver. When writing with the pen it is very simple to draw and write especially when pressing harder to make bolder marks.
