This pen is the perfect, must have accessory for my iPad. You can easily take notes during a meeting or conference. It is also great when following along with a presentation and viewing slides to take notes directly on the slides for easy reference later!!

Great pencil, doesn't mess up your screen or anything like that. It does its job as an iPencil should. Gives the right amount of pull, feels similar to if you were writing on paper when you press down. At the same time, it glides really well. Worth it!

I like this apple pencil, as it has become a integral part of my life. I take notes in class on my ipad and it feels like I'm writing with a real pencil. I've done sketches with this pencil as well. Pretty much anything that you can do, but you wouldn't have to do them on a physical paper anymore. This product is only worth it if you use it on a daily basis, IMO.

Works great with iPad Pro. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive, thus the 4 star..

I tried several other styluses because the apple pencil was not available, I should have saved my money, even as a stylus without the iPad pro it is the only stylus I have ever used that I like. For the iPad pro it's a MUST, even if you're not an artist, but especially if you are!

Love this pen! I only have one complaint, you charge it by attaching it to your iPad!! It looks weird using the iPad with this long pencil sticking out! I’m going to look for a charger for my pencil.

Got this on sale. Wasn’t sure how much I would use it since I’m not an artist. So far I have used it to make notes and to sign documents. It does what it’s supposed to and would more likely be of great use artistically. Recommended.

The gen 1 apple is a much nicer aliternative to using you finger to make clean notes and lines if drawing is needed. Only real down side is no one likes the way you need to charge the pencil. We purchased a small adapter to plug on to the end of you lightning charging cable instead of putting it into the bottom on the iPad itself. Great add on.

This product is an amazing product when used with software developed specifically for it. Unfortunately, in most cases your free pen that you get with the rubber tip works just as well. This product currently is almost exclusively for specific drawing programs. If you Draw, this is a must have. If you don't, save your money.

Absolutely the best pencil for drawing on procreate and other apps. It takes some getting used to but the ease of connecting the pen to my iPad is simple and charge holds for a long time!!!

Apple lures you into purchasing their products and then the 1 million accessories you must purchase to use them...although that may be the case it is still good just hope it would have been included with a $700 iPad....you know the pen probably cost less then $1 to make!!

The Apple pen was amazing. It worked well and. Was very comfortable to hold.

The pairing of both iPad and pencil has been wonderful! The ability to write over pdfs and hand write notes need for my line of work has been amazing. Receive an email that need to be signed and no printer or fax machine around? Just sign it with accuracy with the pencil lol

This is just great! I love to use it with coloring book apps. Easy to use and so precise.

This pen is amazing. I bought it as an accessory to my new Ipad and love it. Easy to use and easy to connect. Use it just like I would do a normal writing pen. You can quick charge into the Ipad, but I do wish it had coming with a charging cord.

If you do a lot of drawing reviews then this pencil is a must have. I can mark up drawings with this pencil when I am riding on the train home, a time saver. If you are an engineer or an artist, it is a very helpful item to have. If not, the Apple keyboard is probably enough.

I had another 1st gen pen that just died. I even went to Apple to test it and yup, no longer worked. The reason for 4 stars is that of course Apple wants to make money so they make the 1st pens for the iPads that have the button and the 2nd gen for the iPads that are full screen. Pen works great.

Great tool. Needs some work such as for the eraser and pairing should be easier.
