Bought this for my 8 year old and she loves it. Surprising precision I can definitely see it having many uses for artists etc. Expensive but worth it

I though the tip would have a little more of a rubber grip feel to it. The pencil itself is very smooth; kind of slippery. May need sleeves/grips to firmly hold the pencil. Other than that, it performs like a pencil when used with apps.

Works exactly as advertised. Build quality is very solid. The charging is a little weird in that you have to plug the pen into the iPad or use the adapter to use a lightning cable, but that would be my only complaint. Battery life is good.

The Apple Pencil is awesome because it works with the iPad and iPhone and you can draw and write pictures and it’s so fun to use I just love it

Came with iPad purchase as an experiment in doing work on the portable iPAD w/o traditional scrolling or touch screen. Powerful tool to aid in being more productive and comfortable with the scrolling operations on an iPAD.

Love the pencil this is my second one. I broke my first, it went flying, found can't work with out it. Will be getting another for my other iPad so I don't have to keep pairing when I switch. The pencil is easier with my arthritis in my hands

This pencil is so smooth to write with. I’ve tried other brands, but this works best for me.

The first gen Apple Pencil is great at what it does - write on the iPad. The charging from the lightning port is a bit janky but does charge fast. Pencil cap is easily lost. Gen 2 pencil offers some solutions to these problems, however at this point first gen pencils are incompatible with second gen pencil compatible iPad devices.

Overall, this is a great addition to certain apps i use. My tablet had no problems sync'ing with it and it charged quickly. I wish there was a way to see how much battery life is left before it just stops working.

Purchased a total of 3 of these pens for the children in my family. They absolutely love how easy it is to use. These pens come in handy while they are doing homework.

Easy to use. Bought a separate sheath to store it as the tip feels a bit fragile. Only thing I would suggest changing is making the tip soft as the pecking noise is a bit annoying. But over all a great buy.

Purchased this Apple Pencil for my sister for her drawings for her iPad and it works wonders for her. Without this, it would be more tougher to do more precise drawings.

Works great. Makes it a lot easier to accomplish a task. I would recommend it to everybody. Wish I’d had it sooner.

Battery lasts twice as long a s the iPad Pro, but what a great must have option! No more finger prints on my screen to clean, also you have to love Apple's genius in marketing, when you lay the pencil down it always rolls to show the logo! Works great!!

I the Apple Pencil along with the iPad Pro 10.5”. It is a great accessory and necessary if you plan on doing any drawing on the iPad Pro. The latency is super low and it is highly accurate. It is definitely up to Apple’s high quality standard.

Been using this with my iPad Pro for 6 months now and simply love it. Note taking is so much easier and enhanced with the pencil. The feel and response of the pencil is so good that it's sometimes easy to overlook that it's not a real pen/pencil.

Love the new iPad pro, works great with the pencil and the smart keyboard. Has made it some much easier to work on pages documents for chapter revisions and making corrections on documents. Highly recommend buying all three together

Purchased along with the new iPad for my daughter. She loves it. Holds a charge for what seems like forever. If I had a critique it would be the charging method. A simple lightning input and using a cable would have been a more elegant solution in my opinion.

I love this pencil because it's just incredible how easy and smooth it is to use. I have to draw many diagrams educating my clients and this is now one of the best instruments in my arsenal.
