    Great addition to an iPad

Makes writing notes and surfing through the web very easy. The coloring and design apps in combination with the pencil give the iPad a very creative experience. Combine the pencil with a keyboard to your iPad and you'll never need a labtop ever again. The pencil holds a pretty long charge. I've gone at least 5 hrs of straight use before needing to recharge it.

    Works like a stylus?

Not sure why it’s so expensive? It doesn’t seem to work any different then my stylus? Yes the tip is different and it doesn’t stick. The screen quickly response to it as it should since it’s made for it. Wish it showed the battery percentage before it was low. Maybe it does I just haven’t looked yet? All and all seems pricey for what it does but that’s just me? Also wish they had more rugged silicone rubber material cases with stylus storage. I’ve only found a few. For iPad Pro and all other tablets.

    Great Tool for Grad School

Bought it to take notes with OneNote on my iPad for my grad classes. I prefer “writing” my notes so this has been a big help for me. My pencil has good response time, charges “fast” (takes maybe 30 minutes) and, though it’s a little longer and a wee bit heavier than the real pencils I’m used to, this piece of tech still fits in my hand/writes as smoothly as the actual thing. I haven’t tried really drawing with it or trying to change the thickness of the lines, so I can’t say anything about that, but I do know if you enable extra features, you can use drawn shortcut symbols to edit as you hand write which is pretty cool. I ordered a silicon pencil sleeve with a cap for the tip and a “keeper” for the charging topper from Amazon. The silicon also helps with grip, I’ve never used my pencil without the sleeve so I don’t know how slippery it is by itself, but the surface is completely smooth and rounded. The topper for the charging connector is magnetic and sturdy (if you flick the pencil the topper won’t go flying) but it’s totally disconnected from the pencil itself and can easily be misplaced during pencil charging if you’re not careful. I also ordered replacement tips from Apple just in case. I’ve only needed to replace my tip once (because a moderate drop damaged it) and after dropping my pencil twice from desk height it still works just fine. I do store it in a hard case usually though, which probably helps.

Really Easy to Use and Versatile

This is my first experience with the Apple Pencil paired with an iPad Pro 10.5. The pairing process was easy, and the device charges from the Lightning port on the iPad. The pencil has a lot of options available and is remarkably user friendly. The only thing I'd add is some type of clip so you can easily secure it in a briefcase, etc.

I love my first generation Apple Pencil . It is fast and very accurate. The lines, shadings go exactly where you put them with a very accurate line boldness control based on applied pressure of the pencil. It is easy and fast to charge with a long battery life between charges. What’s not to like !

The Apple pencil is a good stylus that you can use with your Ipad when you are taking notes for class or whatever you do. The battery life is pretty good with about 12 hours and the pencil has a natural feel to it whenever you are using it and connecting the pencil to your device is extremely easy.

It's a very handy little tool for notetaking and overall creativity. Pairing is effortless with the iPad, where you can also see the battery life of the device and charge via the Lightning port. The Pencil is really precise and efficient for everyday tasks. It's one of the best styluses available in the market.

I purchased the Apple Pencil when I got the new iPad Pro. It is great for taking notes, reading/note taking in ebooks and writing on diagrams and files. I am sure I have not discovered every possibility for Apple Pencil yet but it has not let me down! I have not experienced any lag time or confusion between the pencil and my hand resting on my iPad.

Purchase the Apple Pencil with the idea of drawing house plans and various blueprints. Was surprised at the accuracy and ease of connecting to my iPad. I decided to purchase a drawing app. WOW. blown away with pictures and shading I was able to produce with an electronic pencil. Well worth it for drawing and note taking.

This is a great add on for the ipad. My kids enjoy it so much and it's so easy to connect. Definitely works well with some of the free apps. Glad I picked this up when it was on sale. And it helps that the case I purchased has space for it.

The Apple Pencil is a nice accessory

If you own a iPad Pro the Apple Pencil is a nice added accessory for the $100+ price tag. Now I say that because I like to sketch new ideas, draw and doodle. I like the feel of the Apple Pencil in my hand and the charging design with no batteries to replace. I thought the pencil would have buttons for different applications but it does not.

This utensil is great for writing notes and using the painting features for my daughter to create nice works of art. The pencil is responsive and does not lag. I would suggest a clip or attachment for the removable top to charge the pencil.

This is amazing. Very sensitive and solid. It charges really fast. I love using it. When I first opened the package, I accidentally dropped it. The tip vent a little. Even after changing the tip to a new one, that part of the pencil is forever bent. Still, very functional.

I bought my first IPad for school & knew I had to get a pen too. The delivery was 2 days early & delivered by hand from the Geek Squad. The pen itself was in perfect condition. Charge lasts forever, takes no time to charge, and works amazingly on my IPad. I wouldn't buy from anyone else!

I wanted to try digital art so I saved up and got an open box apple pencil. It looked like it had never been used before. I really love it. It charges quickly and works really well. I love that it works like a real pencil so I can shade and practice calligraphy.

Shy far this is one the best stylist on the market for arts and design. Pro: the Pencil have no lag when is interact with the iPad, decent feel to it and the idea of recognized till is awesome. Con: first had to be price, $100 is a bit much on top the iPad Pro. There is no support handwriting to text software on iPad. Also, there is no holder to keep the pencil in place so it is easy to last. Over all decent product but think the deal breaker had the iPad don't support handwriting to text as it do for other languages.
