They've definitely fixed a lot of the inconveniences with charging and storage with the 2nd generation. But this is still just as responsive and gets the job done.

Makes things easier on the ipad for distance learning for middle school

My only gripe is the charging mechanics although the quick charge in the phone port is a plus I'd prefer a stand with a built in charger so while the pencil is at rest it is charging too

This is an excellent complement to the iPad Pro. I use it especially for taking notes at school when typing doesn't make sense (drawing diagrams, etc). It's very responsive (especially with the iPad Pro 10.5") and the battery life is no issue. Even without a full charge, a quick 15 seconds of charging gives you 30 minutes of Pencil time, which is usually more than enough for my needs. Very reliable and I would definitely recommend the Pencil.

Apple always makes the best products. Although you would think that a pencil is not necessary for an iPad, it actually does come in handy. I find that I like to use it more than my fingers. I actually needed it for work as far as signatures and things of that nature. I like it and I like the fact that it comes with an extra tip for when the tips get worn down. Overall a great purchase!

I have the Windows pencil and I like how it has multiple buttons to use as useful actions like screen capture or open up a program up. This one charges really fast.

My Granddaughter loves this Apple pencil. It goes perfectly with her I-pad mini.

I use the apple pen with some coloring apps. I rarely need to recharge the apple pen battery. Great product!

Nice addition to my iPad. Are use it for taking basic notes for meetings or to jot down ideas. Once you get used to the plan you will enjoy it too.

Nice stylus, but just didn't seem necessary. I ultimately returned it, but if you find yourself needing one this is as good as any to buy. Maybe a little better, because it comes from Apple.
