I bought this 1st gen Apple Pencil to go along with my new 128gb non-pro iPad (only pro models work with 2nd gen pencils) and it works great. It was easy to set up and the battery lasts a long time. I use it a couple times a day in meetings at work during the week and have only charged it right when I bought it almost a month ago. The only very minor thing that bothers me is the cap that covers the charging plug. It’s magnetic, and although I haven’t lost it yet, I could see it coming off in my backpack and probably falling out if I don’t notice it right away. There are 3rd party products you can buy on Amazon that will tether the cap to the pencil to keep them together, but I haven’t bought one yet. And with the 2nd gen pencil being out, these 1st gen pencils are a great cheaper option whether you have the pro or non-pro models of iPad.

I love my Apple pencil that I bought at Best Buy. And even better, it was on sale! It works great with my new iPad and holds the charge for a long time, plus it charges really quickly when it runs out of power. I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm still getting used to using the pen but it works great with a variety of apps. I love being able to take quick notes on the go using the pencil. As a graphic designer, I use the Pencil for client mockups or illustrations in my designs.

To be honest, this is a bit expensive for what it does, but I've come to expect a premium price for Apple products. That being said, the pencil itself is sturdy and feels amazing in my hands. The precision when drawing is way better than 3rd party devices. It actually does look like how I would write on paper! Battery life is also great.

I love my new pencil. I like that it can be used as a stylus or can be used as a pencil and draw with it. It is easy to connect and charge, the battery stays charged for a long time. I would highly recommend and buy again.

Love the Apple Pencil! Perfect weight to be comfortable to use. Glides over the iPad with ease and doesn’t miss a dot. Love being able to take notes in meetings to print out later. No auto miscorrect here (user errors only)!

The Apple pencil is a wonderful tool to get the most out of your iPad. Whether you're using it to write/take notes or do more complex work like drawing or painting it simply works. It accurately translates your strokes precisely to the screen. I highly recommend this.

Best stylus I’ve ever owned. Straight out of the box, it synced super quick and worked beautifully with all my apps (Procreate, photoshop express, etc). As an iPad Pro owner, I wouldn’t own any other stylus. Most apps really cater to the Apple Pencil and that means special settings etc.

I love my Apple Pencil! While it's nifty to use its pressure sensitivity to draw in apps like Paper by 53, my primary use is for taking notes. The Pencil is fabulous for handwritten notes in apps like Notability, Whink, GoodNotes, etc. What could make it even better? A built-in solution to attach to/dock with the iPad Pro and eraser functionality that would allow one to use the "eraser" end of the Pencil to actually erase content on the device.

I wanted the pencil to replace stylus. Does a great job. Use it for functional tasks. Like how quickly it charges and ease of use. I have a cover that accommodates my pencil quite nicely. Also useful for signing documents Online.

The Apple Pencil is my ipads best friend. It is so smooth when working with my iPad and makes a world of a difference with note taking. If you’re getting an iPad for school, note taking, content creation i highly recommend the Apple Pencil!

The Apple Pencil is expensive but it’s a fantastic tool for the iPad Pro. In my opinion, don’t bother getting the Pro if you are not also buying the pencil. If you are also buying a case for your iPad Pro, i would recommend purchasing one that has a built in holder for the iPad Pencil.

This is my second Apple Pencil. They both work seamlessly. Few drops here and there but never when I'm actually engaged in work. I use it as a stylus, to draw but mostly to edit my photos in Lightroom and photoshop. It's almost like using a Wacom tablet. No regrets here. Charges fast and stays charged.

I am in love with the pencil, I think that that the pencil completes the Ipad and would now what to do without it. It makes the Ipad much more functional. I am able to write notes for school which was the biggest selling point.

I LOVE MY APPLE PENCIL!!! It makes taking notes and writing ideas down SO SOOOO easy, and I am able to use it all day. I love how when I use it with my iPad Pro, how depending on how hard I press, it actually draws a heavier line or a lighter line depending on my pressure! AMAZING!

I have used a few styluses (styli?) for my iPad, but the Apple Pencil is the closest to a real physical pencil or pen. It has excellent pressure sensitivity, and it's pretty quick to charge. The only downside is that it's easy to misplace the pencil unless you have a pencil holder for the iPad case.

The men works awesome and unlike how I have seen reviews that say with the Logitech you can't use the pen with the keyboard.... Well you can with the apple keyboard. I'm glad because my keyboard is my normal stand. I haven't used it for much drawing but this pen is certainly precise. So glad I got this!

Using with a paperlike screen protector. Useful with Procreate and Good notes. Hate that the pencil has to be reconnected if the device has been powered off. Quick charging is a plus. Purchasing a grip with this item is really helpful.

Bought this as a birthday present for my son. He has really enjoyed using it. It works well with his iPad. He's always doodling and coloring something. No complaints here outside of maybe it could have been cheaper in price.

I have iPad 6th generation and did not know that this Pencil will make drawings much more productive and fun in the same time. Battery life is great and recharge the pencil are super fast.
