Straight to the point, this is the best stylus out there. I've tried so many different pressure sensitive styluses and this is by far my favorite. It works as advertised by Apple. As of now, this is the closest you're going to get to a real pencil. My favorite iPad app to use with this is ProCreate($5)

I use my apple pen to write notes on my iPad. It is very convenient for my busy work style. The pen makes the user experience all the better. Drawing my ideas out has never been so exciting. I would recommend to a friend.

Absolutely a lifesaver for taking notes with the iPad Pro in both standalone and multitasking split screen modes. Being able to jot extra notes, pen some stuff in downtime, as well as draw and color all on the same device is mind blowing. Very much well worth the price of admission.

The Apple Pencil does exactly what it should do and does it well. The quick charge feature comes in handy when you reach for the Pencil and find the battery is empty. Admittedly using the lightning port on the bottom of the iPad to charge the Pencil looks silly, but effective.

This device feels incredibly natural. I have used four different styli in the past and not one of them really felt like it made my work easier. The Apple Pencil absolutely does. Paired with the brand new iPad Pros and there is simply no lag at all between movement and result on screen.

I have a Mac and a Wacom tablet with it's respective stylus or pen... pencil... what ever LOL. I love my iPad Pro 12.9 and my Apple Pencil, I love how it feels, yes you have to charge it once or twice a month BUT you fully charge it in like 6 mins!! It is very responsive, and it works great!!

I annotate pdfs, so it's handy for that, but I could have gotten a cheaper stylus. This just looks cool. Two complaints: it's a bit slippery. I refuse to pay for a pencil cover. Also, it doesn't have an on/off switch which is annoying since I then have to pair off the device on bluetooth to save the battery, but it does charge in less than 5 min.

    For the Art

The only reason I had bought the pen was because we (my mom and I who share the ipad) wanted to use it to draw on the apps. It worked very well and has a pretty good life (also charges fast and you can check the battery on the ipad as well). To be honest, I do not see any reason other than drawing (as a serious artist) to get the pen. Also the charger is so small that it can be easily lost.

I was hesitant at first spending so much money on this product but after using it, I’m so glad I did. I’ve had other stylus before and they always lagged or was never dead on but the Apple Pencil is definitely dead on. I’ve had zero issues with it and I’m glad I bought it!

This is a smooth writing stylus with a great, natural feel. It holds a charge for a long time and has quick charging. I use it for taking notes for school and love it. I wish it had a multi use button on it to use as a quicker eraser, but it’s not a deal breaker at all. It is expensive but you get a high quality stylus.

I finally took the plunge on the pencil. It's flawless. The weight makes it feel like a real pencil. It charges in no time, and holds it. While there may be some delay in useage I can't detect it. I've wanted this since childhood but had to wait 20 years for technology to catch up

I like it. I have "fat finger" issues with small and on-screen keyboards. The pencil is easy to use with the IPad. It charges fast and easy from its own connector or plugged up to the IPad. I would be happier if more case manufacturers provided a place for the pencil on their IPad cases.

This is a neat device and I can definitely see that for artists and if you are taking notes that you wish to save this is a cool add on to the IPAD Pro. That being said, if you are not an artist or able to get by and use the keyboard I am not sure that you really need this. It does work well and I like that it used the same lighting power source to charge. I have only had this product for a few weeks and so far have not used this much.

I have always loved sketching with a pencil, well the Apple Pencil works just like a box of pencils. Shading, different hardness, different widths, they’re all available. I love the APencil as much as the good old yellow pencil, and it doesn’t roll off the table!

I like the device quite a bit, interaction with the screen is very good and using it to draw, write, color, sketch or mark up a pdf is very natural feeling. The battery charges fast and lasts long enough (based on charge time). The issue I have is the texture of the device. It is so dang smooth it is almost slippery and perfectly round so it rolls all over the place. It is a pleasure to use other than the texture and roundness.

I recently bought an iPad Pro for college nd was skeptical about buying the pencil, since I thought any old stylus would do. But this is a game changer! It's so precise and my notes are so much cleaner. Since it is designed specifically for the iPad Pro, you really do need one for the other.

I really like this pencil. I have read some reviews that point out problems or dislikes, but I am not experiencing any of them. But I think it really depends on how you use the pencil. I am not an artist, nor have I used any other stylus on a tablet, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I am using my iPad for training, by reading ebooks, pdf's, and watching videos. With my fat fingers, if I want to back up a video 1 minute, it was difficult. This pencil allows me to pretty much place the video wherever I want it. I also use it to take notes along the way. Again, for this purpose, the Apple Pencil works great. I like the way the pencil feels in my hands. I like the weight of it as well. A light stylus feels flimsy to me, while one with weight behind it feels solid in my hands. The only thing I don't like is having to plug it in the end of the iPad. That to me seems like a breakage waiting to happen.

There is no lagging problem- Apple Pencil is excellent. Only thing is, you need to be careful about the cap . It’s advisable to use a pencil box to protect everything.
