For the wife...

For me, I like the fact that I can save some paper, since I’m always taking notes at work. Aside from the fact that the iPad sometimes misconstrues my palm for a finger touch, the actual writing experience is great. Haven’t tried it yet, but in my down time, I’m looking forward to trying some sketch pad apps, even though Note already has some general drawing tools in it. Overall, I’m really happy with the gen 1 on the regular iPad, and my wife likes it too so far.

I purchased the leather folio for the iPad that allowed storage of the pencil since it can be easy to lose. The only con of the pencil is that it’s charging mechanism requires removal of a cap that is small and easy to drop or misplace.
