No way around it!...

If you have the iPad Pro, then the Apple Pencil is a must!!... sure, there are cheaper options, maybe even some with acceptable performance, but none will give you the same functionality the Apple Pencil does. This is by far, the best stylus you can get for the iPad Pro. No point in buying the iPad Pro (9.7 or 10.5) if you’re trying to save a few bucks in avoiding buying a cheaper stylus.
