Great for drawing and for my son to do his kindergarten homework (lots of tracing and drawing). It's made the pandemic a whole lot easier. The main use is my art. I won't be able to go back to my computer's pen and tablet. DRAWBACK: This was a replacement for one I bought in 2017. The battery life slowly got so bad I had to replace because I was recharging every 5 minutes. If you just casually use it, it should last even longer. But if you're a professional artist or use it constantly for whatever reason, just be aware it lasts around 2 years before the battery starts to get bad.

Works well, it’s more so the software that messes it up oftentimes. Happy with the purchase regardless. Feels nice to hold, a bit slippery though.

Should have buy this Apple Pencil earlier. It works greater with my iPad Pro that makes taking note easier. Very easy to use, same as you write on a paper

This is my second pencil because I accidentally ran over my first one lol. I use it on both my iPad 10.5 pro and iPad mini. It writes really well. Easy to charge and carry around.

The 1st Gen Apple Pencil is a great purchase for anyone who uses their iPad for drawing, painting, and even writing! My wife has been using one of these pencils ever since we bought an iPad. Charging the pencil is easy and usually takes 20 to 30 minutes to fully charge. Setting up the pencil for your iPad is straightforward and takes a minute or two. It is a very delicate device however. The first pencil we had bought stopped working after falling two feet.

I have enjoyed this accessory for my iPad Pro. I have always used a Galaxy Note mobile phone because of the pen/notetaking ability. The pencil is a bit bulky and pricey. If you have a keyboard cover or the like, you cannot attach the pencil to your device. Writes true to life. Great for note taking or doddling.

I am using the Gen. 1 Apple Pencil for drawing and am loving it. I would recommend it to any artist wanting to test the field of digital art. It is very accurate and easy to use,

A great companion to iPad for my main use to take notes and add notes to a pdf document. Smart to discern from touches by palm or fingers. A bit too long and too heavy. Battery charging requires a small interface piece which could be lost easily. Expensive.

Good for taking notes. I used it immediately for a couple of my college courses and loved it. Great battery life and easy to setup

The pencil responds well with a tap or press-n-hold. It's light weight and thin. I haven't tried any drawing but handwriting apps are amazing with this pencil. iOS 11 unlocks even more pencil features.

I’m a Medical student and taking notes and studying is what I do. This is a great accesory for your iPad Pro if you’re a student and take note on the iPad. Great battery life and it’s very responsive!

I got this about a month ago and it has worked well. It is a little pricey just for being a stylist but it does the job and is gentle on the screen. I wish the charging was a little less awkward but overall I don’t regret my purchase.

I've purchased many styluses (some cheap, a couple expensive) for various iPad's that I've owned and I'm never been happy with any of them. Now, I have the new iPad Pro with the Apple Pen and it is a marvel. It's responsive and easy to hold for long periods of time. I use it almost exclusively in One Note but it's worked great in other applications also. The price is about the same as another stylus that I tried and the Apple Pencil is so much better. Good battery life too and if it runs out, I can do a quick charge without a charging cable by plugging it into the iPad for a minute. Super.

This Apple pencil works great with our daughter's iPad 7th generation. She uses it for drawing and taking notes. It paired ith the iPad easily and has worked great

Writes like a real pencil. Very responsive on the screen. Love being able to take handwritten notes directly on iPad and being able to search them later.

The pencil is quite the versatile tool for the iPad. Drawing, sketching, water colors and even just marking up documents is effortless. Battery life satisfactory but pencil is useless if there's an update for the pencil or iPad. Won't sync until you update. In a hurry..? Sorry, no use until you update :-/

Couldn’t be easier to add handwriting recognition and drawing capabilities to your iPad! iOS 14 makes a huge difference on the Apple Pencil experience as well!

I have used other styluses before, but none can compare to how well this works. I bought it to use with the new iPad Pro 9.7 - no lag at all on the screen! it's like writing with pen and paper! It works flawlessly.

I was on the fence whether you really needed the Apple Pencil it it was definitely worth it! It’s so easy to use and holds a charge really well. I love this for taking notes in class on my iPad Pro.
