If you have the latest iPad this pencil is a great addition. It’s great for notetaking, especially as a student. Also, great for people who enjoy drawing and want to try digital art.

Very responsive and accurate. Unfortunately unless you take a lot of handwritten notes or draw a lot, there aren't enough use cases to support the price.

The pencil works great with my iPad Pro. I can take notes and have the notes translate into typed text with an app that I purchased. It is easy to draw with when I need to make a quick diagram. Very responsive!

The Apple Pencil 1 works very well the the iPad there’s barely any lag and is very comfortable to write with.

This is hands down the best stylus I've ever used. As close to pen and paper as you can get. Obviously writing on a hard surface is different than on paper but the almost non existant lag and pin point accuracy is amazing. Is it perfect? No. It's surface is slick. For folks that like grippy pens this will annoy you. Carrying it around is not easy. There is no cap, no clip, and no way to securely attach it to your iPad. I don't mind the round surface. I am careful with it; if you tend to be a bit rough with your devices plan on repairing or replacing it at some point. I have given up my paper notebook and now use OneNote and Noteability at work. I love the added functionality I get with these apps. They both work well with the pencil.

Easy to use, compatible with multiple iPad models! Pencil size is perfect and very comfortable to hold in my hand for hours!

Well, it works, but there is no way to keep track of the tiny parts. Dumb design. I would only recommend it because there is no alternative except your fingers. I hear the next version will have something to hook them on. i have already lost the cap, and any minute i will probably lose the charger.

Easy to use and extremely useful tool. Grabbed this with a 12.9 iPad Pro, and it has been a hit for me. Paired this with Notability App, for both MacOS and iOS, and syncing across multiple devices.

Amazed at the sensitivity. Reacts to pressure just like a real pencil would! Long charge life too. Only drawback would be the price. But I'm glad I went with the apple instead of compatible pens...

Great. purchase for an artist, she loves it! It is easy to use, she draws her favorite Amine characters to perfection. Price is okay, but is a very expensive tool for a hobby, but it is worth it when put to use on a daily basis.

I bought this and I don’t regret it. Yes it’s a little pricey, but it’ll be worth it in the long run. Great for drawing, taking notes and simple everyday use. I use it with my IPad 9.7.

It’s an Apple Pencil If you need to have an Apple Pencil either for notetaking or drawing it is a great device. The charges quickly and there is no noticeable Lag on an iPad Pro

Bought this for the new iPad Pro 10.5" and absolutely love it. Very responsive and accurate with long lasting battery life. This would have been great for taking notes in school. Highly recommended!

This pencil does it's job but the new one is so much better. Annoying I can't turn it off when not in use, and feels like a $100 item you're bound to lose because it rolls off everything. Get the new Apple Pencil if you can.

The pen is great to use, it's easy to draw, write, and navigate your iPad with. It's very light and feels like a real pen. It does run out of power quickly, but doesn't take long to charge. 10/10.

Took me a while to get it to work, but now I use it all the time. Really feels nice. Takes no time at all to charge up. Like to be able to write notes in the margins and works really good for that.

The apple pencil is an essential accessory for the iPad. It writes just like a pen would on a piece of paper, and it is awesome for note taking (especially for students).

This pencil has helped me so much post production when editing photos. It is spot on and feels a little heavier than a normal pencil, but it is awesome.

I got the pro for taking notes in school and it is so much easier to write with this compared to a finger. It is very precise. It would be awesome for the creative, artistic people out there!
