Seems to hold a charge a long time and charges quickly. Happy I ordered a silicone case/grip from Amazon as it has an attached cover to help avoid losing the cap.

I bought this pencil just to try it out and to see if I would like or use it. I have found out that it can be used to write manual notes & draw illustrations and save in ICloud. I learned how to change the colors of my print and how to erase my mistakes which is very nifty. I also use my pencil as a stylist to move my pages etc. PLEASE NOTE: Buy the pencil cap protector and place it on the pencil before you ever take the top off to charge the pencil or it can be lost forever. I read so many reviews how customers lost their cap on the first day.

This has vastly improved my professionalism as a student. I can quickly take notes with my exact handwriting and instantly store them to the cloud. I can search my handwriting in GoodNotes, my preferred writing app. It allows me to highlight text, change writing color, convert handwritten words into text that I can copy and paste. I also love to work in the Paint app, to draw and color coloring sheets that I downloaded for stress relief in between class and homework. I have been able to download assignments and work directly on them, erasing flaws perfectly before printing my final work. I also love saving paper by storing most of my notes digitally.

The technology is amazing with the pencil. great pressure sensitivity and i love that it doesn't recognize your palm so you can write like normal. battery also lasts forever on pen

My first time using one of these apple pencils and I must say it is easy to connect to your iPad. Its does really good for apps such as notability for note taking

Love this pencil . Works well with my ipad and enables me to take noteslike I would on a notebook. Since transitioning to electronic notes, its saved time and money. The only thing I dislike is the connection to the ipad. Not convenient

This pencil is incredibly comfortable to hold. I am using to take notes in meetings And it works very well. Only 4 stars because I don’t care for the way the pencil connects to the iPad for charging. Makes the unit cumbersome to work with with the pencil sticking out so far.

Got a new ipad & HAD to get the Apple Pencil too!! It is great! Super easy to link to tablet. Holds a charge & has been perfect for what I like to do, sketching & drawing.

It is very slippery, that’s the only complaint. I put one of those rubber grip to help with that and now there’s no problem. Love the pressure and tilt sensitivity. Happy that I got it.

The Apple Pencil is very precise, charges within minutes, and holds its charge for hours. I bought it along with the Apple iPad 6th generation and it works really well. I love it.

I love this thing. It makes taking notes a breeze as you can use the pencil in all of Microsoft Office apps. I also picked up coloring on my iPad because of how accurate the Apple pencil is.

Was skeptical of spend close to $100 on essentially a stylist that had to be charged... worth every penny and absolutely not just any stylist! So happy I got it and amazing to take notes with!

Good weight, cancels touch from resting hand on screen, THE ACCURACY. MUST have tool for teachers who are delivering virtual instruction.

Good pen for beginner! easy to use. The battery life lasting 2days and with only 30 minutes charge. But the head of the pen has little lose. It was ok for me.

This is a great side kick for the iPad. It was purchased for daughter who is a college student. She likes to use it to take notes while she is in class. And she likes to draw with it as well

This pencil has a nice weight and good length. It is completely round and can roll away from you. I like that you can charge it independently from the iPad. I don't like that you can loose the pencil top or the fact that the charging adapter can be easily broken.

No drawbacks. Does the job as it should. Kind of nice being able to charge it right on the iPad.

I decided to get the pencil when I bought the I-Pad Pro. Because I like stylus. This pencil is fun for me. It's very precise when I write on picture and send. I'm finding I Can use in other apps.

The pen works perfectly and is a good buy. The only problem is that there are too many attachments: an adapter for the mini USB, an extra pencil tip, and a cover for the mini USB on the “eraser” end of the pencil. These parts are of course small and easy to loose. The new Apple pencil has just one attachment and it charges via a magnet on the side of the new iPads. I realize the magnet feature is new and specifically designed for the new iPads, but A wireless charging station would have been better for the 1st generation pencil instead on all of the attachments.. Other than having too many small attachments, the Apple Pencil performs excellently and the battery lasts me almost a week no matter how much I use it.
