When I first purchased my iPad Pro, I really had no intention of buying the Apple Pencil. I am not an artist, and I didn't really feel I would need a stylus having never used one with my iPad First Gen. What changed my mind is an app called Forescore. It is a music reading app that I am using for all of my sheet music for my various musical endeavors. When I discoverd that this clever app would recognize that I was using the Apple Pencil and automatically go to annotation mode, I was sold! Now, having the Pencil seems like a no-brainer. I use it all the time. It really is an amazing device. Perhaps it can even teach me to draw!

The pencil is more accurate and flexible than I thought. I use it to write notes and I've had to slow down a bit while I learn to control the pencil on the slick surface. Sketching is pretty easy and thankfully the erase feature is well thought out.

The pencil works great with the iPad. There's no lag which makes note taking a breeze. It also has pressure sensors built in which gives the feel of 3D Touch on a few apps

Love my pen, easy to charge, easy to use, easy to change tips. Works great with my Ipad Pro. Use to sign contracts on the spot. Not more Printing Contracts...

Great, easy to write on iPad, and pressure sensitivity, make write and drawing so easy on iPad must to have for iPad.

I originally bought a 2nd generation Apple Pencil thinking newer is better and ignorant that my older iPad would not support it. Best Buy was great to work with and gave me no hassle about returning the 2nd gen unit. Fortunately Best Buy had a 1st gen Pencil in stock at a lower price than the 2nd gen. I bought it, got it home and it works perfectly! Make sure you check to make sure you are buying the correct Apple Pencil for your device and you can't go wrong. I love the Apple Pencil!!!

Great to use instead of my finger. Last a long time before I have to recharge it, and it charges quickly. Would recommend to iPad Pro users.

Love the Apple Pencil. The response time is incredible.. totally feels like you are writing. Lightweight. Charge last for quite awhile. Definitely a great purchase

This is an OUTSTANDING Pencil. It charges in less than 5 minutes and holds the charge for a long time. The charging cap is magnetic and stays on tight. Accurate and smooth.

Got this for my wife because she likes to draw and color. If she’s got her iPad she’s got her Apple Pencil. Easy use. Quickly charges. She loves it.

Works perfectly with my son's iPad and he loves it. The pressure-sensitive feature is really cool and drawing and painting on the iPad is smooth.

I purchased this mainly to use in Procreate, and I've found the responsiveness to be very intuitive and enjoyable. It is MUCH better than the Intuos Creative Stylus 2, which I had owned previously but found to be frustrating and clumsy - despite the high reviews. I debated about whether or not to take away one star because, frankly, I love the Pencil. HOWEVER: The adapter for charging the stylus using the USB cable is tiny and I've already lost it so I'm constrained to charging it in the iPad port itself. (So far I haven't lost the cap!) Also, not having a good way to carry the stylus on my iPad was disappointing. I bought the Leuchtturm1917 Black Pen Loop, which isn't designed for the Apple Pencil, but has worked very well for me. Overall, somewhat insignificant complaints as I love the Pencil itself, but I hope they can address these design flaws in a future edition.

Use it for procreate and although I'm not much of an artist it is very accurate and fluid. a little pricey but still worth it

The apple pen is super easy to use and connects quickly and effortlessly. It recharges fast so you never have to worry about being without for long periods.

essential tool for anybody with a compatible ipad. it makes work so much faster and easier. I wish the charging system and cap wasnt so bad tho. but it charges really fast and loiks great

Works great on the iPad pro. Not as large as the pictures show. Fits perfectly in the hand. Charges very quickly so the tacky look of it sticking in the iPad won't last long.

Love using this pencil! I was worried about scratches on the ipad from the constant tapping, so I've also added tempered glass to the ipad just incase! Would have been nice if the pencil didn't cost so much, but it's a very useful tool. Can imitate a real pencil, pen, or marker. Really neat! Please remember to turn off Bluetooth so your pencil will go into sleep mode (when not using). If you don't do this, your pencil will stay on and it will eat up the battery. For example, you can have your pencil fully charged and keep it in your bag/backpack and while you're moving around to school/work, your pencil is on and eating up the battery. It could be at half way or even DOA before you even get to use it. You can call it a design flaw but as long as you know how to prevent it from being on when not in use, you can get the most out of your new apple pencil.

Great battery life one charge lasts me a couple of days worth of drawing and use great product over all recommended for artists
