If you're doing serious work on the iPad Pro you'll need it (no mouse). Easy to use and as always for Apple, easy to pair. Can charge by connecting to the iPad.

I purchased the Apple pencil for my daughter who is in a medical Master's program, taking Anatomy. I love the pencil and plan to purchase one for myself, as I am an educator. Perfect device to take notes on if your professor supplies notes in advance. Perfect device for a professor/professional who teaches online to annotate images or highlight important information. Perfect for business presentations. This is so much better than any stylus I have used as the information is saved and transferred to all of my Apple devices.

Very easy to use, and learn with. Several brush styles and responds to pressure variations.

This is by far the fastest and MOST PRECISE pen you can use on a tablet. At first I didn't want to spend $100 on a pen that I could only use on an iPad pro because I have 3 regular iPads as well. But it was well worth it. I use mine for taking notes and doing homework on my iPad Pro. I don't have to carry any pencils that always need sharpening to class anymore. And you never have to worry about running out of ink. I absolutely love it and now that I've used it I'm hooked and can't go back to the regular stylus. No matter how much they cost, a stylus just can't compete with the Apple Pencil.

Really slick and easy to use. Charging can be tedious but the battery lasts long and I use it to edit pdfs in Acrobat all the time.

Bought the iPad pencil as a novelty. It does work remarkably well and I found myself using it for things I wouldh't have expected. Still looking for the ideal app to store and mark up documents. Works very well with MS Word and Excel as well as Bluebeam.

Works great for drawing and coloring on iPad, pressure sensitivity comes in handy for a real life feel while drawing and coloring.

I am a professional artist and have used the Apple Pencil almost non-stop for the past two years. It truly mimics a real pencil/paint brush and allows for control that no other digital pencil can touch. Highly recommended. My only complaint is that my first pencil only lasted a bit over a year, so I had to buy a second one - Apple only warranties the Pencil for a year and doesn't offer Apple Care on the Pencil. For the amount I used it, I certainly got my money's worth out of the Pencil, but it is an expensive tool to have to replace.

Quite expensive, but it does what it is intended to do and makes the difference when you buy a iPad Pro. Without it is just a very expensive iPad.

The pencil has been very useful for updating drawing on my iPad. Easy to use and provides more precision than using your finger.

I was hesitant on buying this product I was not sure if I was going to actually use it, but I am so glad I did, I got rid of my notebooks and just started using my iPad for any notes or writing tasks, it also allows me to take notes on pdf documents, use highlighter and basically it has made any experience with books and documents in digital format so much better for me. I love it, its easy to use, easy to connect, battery lasts long, it takes a little bit to get used to it but after a couple YouTube tutorials anyone could master it’s use, just make sure which Generation is compatible with your device because in my case I was very close to buying gen 2 cause I preferred some of its features and then realized it wouldn’t have worked with my iPad.

Love how fast it charges! I'm terrible at remembering to charge my stuff so by plugging it in for just 5 minutes I can use it a long time.

I honestly love my ipad pro 10.5 because of this pencil. Its such a great addition. When I first heard of the pencil, I was skeptical and thought its just a fancier version of the stylus, nothing too special. Boy was I wrong. This comes very close to feeling like Im writing with a real pen/pencil onto paper. I dont know how they did it, but they did. Its perfect for saving money on ink and writing directly onto your powerpoints on your tablet. Now I can save on ink and print only things I need to turn in. I love this pen and would totally recommend it.
