This is far better than the old stylus that used to be used with older Apple products. This pen plugs in for charging and pairing. It is sensitive and comes with additional points. The pen allows the iPad Pro to be used up to its full potential.

Great for drawing. My daughter loves it and uses it daily. It's a must-have if you do art on the iPad.

I wanted to be able to take notes with a stylus and tried another name-brand. Needless to say, it was a big mistake. So I bought the Apple Pencil and have become a true believer! It works so well. The writing is smooth and consistent between stylus touch to screen results. I use it also for highlighting and making notes on PDF files as well as some of the Adobe photo apps. I can't say enough about how pleased I have been with the battery life, performance, and results of this purchase. It is the perfect complement to my Apple iPad pro.

This little pen makes using my iPad even better. The precision is very good and it was really easy to pair up with my iPad.

I had an iPad all throughout high school, and I really missed having one. Once I got my new one, I took a chance on the high price of this pencil to see how much it would enhance my experience with it. I got to say, I'm really loving it so far. I've always been someone who enjoys doodling on the sides of the pages of my notebook, but I had never experienced drawing on a tablet. I think it's amazing. I'm not someone who really works on the craft but I could see someone who's really serious about drawing being really into this pencil. For anyone else I think it's good too, but maybe not something worth paying for if you're not going to use it all that much to write or draw.

Recently purchased an iPad Pro and bought the Apple Pencil to use with it. It works well, easy to pair with device, and happy with battery life. For my needs, kind of limited use for it but I do like to doodle and jot notes with it.

I couldn’t imagine getting an iPad without the pencil. It’s great for writing, scrolling, and generally everything. However the price point is steep.

Decided to up my game with the purchase of the Apple Pencil (1st Generation) over a generic stylus. It is a vast improvement. This pencil works great with most of the note taking apps I have tried and is extremely useful in reducing the amount of finger prints that collect. I am not crazy about plugging it into the iPad to charge. However the Apple Pencil comes with a lightning adapter so you can charge it using the same lightning cable you use to charge the iPad. It also would have been nice if it magnetically attached to the iPad like the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) does with the iPad Pro. But the purchase of the right iPad cover / case works almost as well. Glad I purchased this device.

It does what it's supposed to do. It works well for drawing apps and coloring book apps. it's nice how it changes the width of the stroke based on pressure.

The Apple Pencil is very pricey but worth it. It works like a pencil and it works for the kids to do their work.

Good product with ease of useage. As with all Apple products the Ipad pencil is fully integrated for use with the IPAD Pro. That's why I bought it. Pencil is light and works well. I was surprised with the ease of use and quality contruction.

I wasn’t sure if this purchase was necessary. I did some research and got good reviews. Once received, I feel it’s ok when I use it for my designs. I agree it is high priced.
