I've seen the idea of the first gen apple pencil and this is a better fit. They took the idea from windows but incorporated the charging feature which is a plus. I buy cases that holds onto the pencil while it charges on the side of my iPad pro so it makes it convenient for travel. Pencil feels funny against raw glass but can be modified with a paper like screen protector. I can now get the full functionality out of my iPad pro.

As a highly dedicated professional, I look for tools that are accurate and efficient. The apple pencil is simply the best product available for digital designers or drawing entuciatics. the battery life is incredible. I used Wacom products in the past and I was concerned about battery life but I haven't had an issue yet. highly recommended

This is the first Apple Pencil I bought. I plan on using it for school with my iPad mini and just from trying it out I love this thing. Feels nice in your hand, the double tap feature works great.

Very simple, lots of features. Does not fall from the magnetic charging in the ipad

it's a great addition to a decked out ipad. i find myself using it more and more every day, if only to navigate web pages. i use it to draw a bit and it's a pleasurable experience. i can't recommend it for on the go note taking on the stock iOS apps or OneNote, It's too clunky. can't speak to other applications available for purchase. It's great for graphics, signing PDFs for work, and handwriting messages occasionally.

Love the way this pen charges on top of the iPad. Works great, have had no issues with it at all.

Great product - easy to use and works great. Was disappointed that the old pencil wasn’t compatible with new iPad and that I had to buy the new version. Price is a bit high - drops the overall value a bit.

The charging is awkward for the 1 gen. pencil. Apple finally fixed this. But this is a bit pricey.

Easy to use. Paired itself and taking notes are easy. I not going to transcribe my notebook, but going foward this way to go.

Love this pencil. Apple does it again with another product. Only draw back is that if you travel around, while the magnet is strong, it won't keep pencil attached in a backpack and moving around. Need a case for it. Also, need to be careful with the tips. If you drop the pencil on its tip - at any angle - bye bye tip. they're not expensive but just, you have to replace them
