nice upgrade from the first gen apple pencil, very light and thin. If you use your iPad for writing or drawing I would suggest getting a grip or sleeve for the apple pencil.

Holds its charge well and dosent misrepresent your hand for the pen which would cause issues

I have an ipad with the first generation Apple Pencil and this one is by far much better. The charging is much more convenient and the feel of it is more pen like than the previous generation.

Overall, this is a very nice accessory to my iPad Pro. I love how it pairs and charges via magnets. For the most part, it stays attached to my iPad when I want and need it to. There have only been one or two instances where it got bumped off. This was my first Apple Pencil and I was surprised at how responsive and fluid it was when using it to draw on the iPad Pro. I bought it thinking that I'd use it for note taking, but I'm not sure that I'll end up doing that. If you're intro drawing and sketching though, I think this is a great device for you to consider. I'll end up keeping it so I can use it to edit photos when the new version of Photoshop comes out and I'll be able to use it like I use a Wacom tablet on my desktop Mac.

Makes highlighing in ebooks so much easier and quicker. Like that I can use it on my ipad and my daughter can use it on hers. It is exspensive but what Apple isnt.

I really like the features of Apple Pencil. Being able to sign documents is critical for my job. I just wish it was included with the purchase of iPad Pro. Cost is pretty set for an accessory alone.

Connects to my iPad so its always there, always charged. Feel and writes just like a pen/pencil. Much improved from other types of stylus, really drives home the use of the tablet

If you are looking for Apple Pencil, definitely get the second generation as it’s easier to charge (wireless) and no need to worry that the charging cord will break . The texture is not so slippery and matte

It charges fast off of the tablet. I usually don’t keep mine on the tablet, I keeps it in the holder attached to the case and when I need it, it only takes a few seconds to get enough charge to use.
