This should really come with the iPad. It is like Apple selling a power cord separately. Worth it for notes and expands use on the iPad but over priced.

Bought this with my new IPad pro and I use it all day at work. I love to take hand written notes. This is a far better pencil than the 1st gen model.

I like using the second generation pencil for playing solitaire and drawing in apps meant for photo and sketches. It also works very good for navigating through the Home Screen tabs so you do not get your screen all touched up. Charge stays for a while. I used it for days and it still was not under 50%.
