    I’ve used the first generation apple pen and there isn’t much difference from the first gen other than charging it from the top of the iPad rather than awkwardly at the side. Sometimes pressing the button on the side wouldn’t work. I do notice I charge this pen a lot less than the first gen.

    It is amazing for note taking. So much better than the apple pencil 1 and the magnet attaching to my ipad is awesome. I love it.

    Great tool to use with the iPad. It is just like writing on a piece of paper... can use as a pencil, crayon etc.... love it!

    There are three changes from the first to second generation pencil that make this worth a purchase (with a corresponding iPad of course): 1. the charging system is practical, safe, and intuitive. 2. the size and weight are easier on my hand. 3. (controversial) but I like the double tap feature to quickly switch between pencil and eraser.
