Easy to use and easy to charge. After years of using the gen 1, the gen 2 is a vast improvement. Pairing and charging is super easy-just attach to the mag side of your iAd and the pencil charges and pairs. I don’t miss the lightning plug or the annoying cap.
Writing is improved and lots of new features. '

The second-generation Apple Pencil is a precise and responsive stylus that enhances the iPad experience. With its magnetic attachment, wireless charging, and seamless integration with iPadOS, it's a must-have tool for artists, note-takers, and anyone looking to unlock the full potential of their iPad.

About the only thing equal to a Wacom pen. I like the way the new pencil charges, the flat edge, and having extra functionality by tapping the side of the pencil. Great for writing and drawing.

I purchased a 2nd Gen Apple Pen and after having it for a couple of months I can say I really do like it. The pen is always charged since it’s connected to my IPad when not in use. The quality is great. It’s comfortable to use. I use it for work everyday and it has not given me any issues.

Works well with my iPad Mini 6, mainly used for taking notes. It is more responsive and stays connected which a cheaper knock off didn’t. Lesson learned! It automatically charges when it sits on the edge magnetically so I don’t have to remember to stick it in the charging port like the 1st generation model.

The Apple Pencil isn't needed for the iPad, but it's very useful! I would invest in saving for this item. I use mine for drawing, taking notes, & to maneuver through my iPad. It charges very quickly, so its not annoying to wait on. It's connected via Bluetooth & attaches to the iPad with ease. It's very light, & smooth. I have a little case on my pencil for safety. The case doesn't stop it from the functions I just listed above. It's the perfect companion for my iPad.

Works great with Apple iPad Air (5th generation), even with a screen protector, and charges while connected to the iPad. A definite convenience when writing is necessary, rather than using a finger. Unfortunately, Apple's software does not allow renaming of the Apple Pencil, so make sure you don't lose it or mix it up with someone else's!

The new Apple Pencil makes note-taking, writing, and drawing better than ever. It magnetically attaches to iPad Pro, charges wirelessly, and lets you change tools with a simple double tap.

Love this Apple pen! I’m in school studying to be a digital artist and this pen is a game changer for my drawings. So easy to use and connect with my iPad Pro. I’ve used other off brand pens, but none of them perform like the Apple pen. Definitely worth the money!!

The Apple Pencil (2nd generation) is unique in that by being magnetically supported, it is conveniently attaches to one's i pad device effortless. This makes it convenient to use and easy to charge without the need of it being extended from the from the front of one's device...meaning one can charge the pencil without a distraction. I was disappointed that I could not use the first version; however, once I got to use it, I understand the difference between the two generations of pencils. Unless, one updates to the latest pencil, you cannot use the previous version to write with.

I have an iPad Pro 9.7” with the first Gen Apple Pencil. Although it is a nice gadget, the Apple Pencil Gen 2 is so much better. Faster and way more convenient. The biggest issue with the Gen 1 was charging and carrying the pencil. Apple fixed that with the Gen 2. The magnets and wireless charging are genius solutions to the small problem. The pencil is easy to carry and thanks to the wireless charging is always ready with a 100% charge. It doesn’t sound like it’s much but the experience is a lot better. If you have a New iPad Pro and you like to draw or even take notes at school this Apple Pencil Gen 2 is a great addition to the iPad experience.

Works great for taking notes. The quality is excellent and the pencil feels very solid. I’ve also used it a little bit for drawing, and while I’m not an artist, I appreciate the pressure sensitivity.
The battery life is very good. After using it for about a 90 minute class period, it goes down to maybe 90% or a bit less. It charges very quickly as well. When I first got it, the battery was at 0%, and it charged to 20% in less than a minute.

As others have said, the Apple pencil is a pricey but great stylus. The 2nd Gen is much improved over the 1st Gen Pencil. It feels nicer to hold and write with and being able to charge it by connecting it to the iPad magnetically is much better than plugging it into the bottom of the device. I use it mostly for taking notes and marking up PDFs, and it is very smooth and responsive. The only downside is that the magnets connecting it to the side of the iPad are not super strong, so it isn’t really practical to leave it attached at all times since it might get knocked off.

Not too much to say, great for taking notes or if you draw great for that too, super convenient that it charges just by sticking it to the iPad, maybe a slight downfall is that it can fall off pretty easy if carrying around with it on the side of the tablet.

I use this all the time with my iPad so I don't get fingerprints on my screen and I love it. there is no lag or delay on my screen when I use it and when I am done it connects right to the side of my iPad for automatic charging. the magnet that holds it is also super strong so I don't have to worry about dropping it or losing it when its connected to my iPad.
