The Apple Pencil was purchased for my granddaughter. She lives it!

Great upgrade from previous model, more precise and more responsive

Great pen. I love the way it writes. It is smooth and was easy to set up.

I got the 2nd gen pencil and it works on the screen with a lighter touch, drawing has improved and the entire combo, pencil and iPad Pro seem like more attention was paid to easing the use of both together, much better than the preceding pencil and iPad worked.

Love the new feature...wireless charging, tap to change options. Long battery life.

It makes the iPad so much more like a note book so great for school!!

I am using 1st gen apple pencil. 2nd gen has really good battery life.

I bought this pencil 12/19/2020. It stopped working in October 2022. After a lot of troubleshooting I found out that the batteries just die and then you have to replace the whole pencil. I use it regularly but not more than an hour or so per day. It seems like it should last longer with that kind of use. I hate the idea that the battery cannot be replaced and I just have to throw it away and buy a new one. I love the pencil but kinda disappointed in how long it lasts.

We are still learning what it can do. After first buying the Insignia Crayon we decided that we wanted the real Apple Pencil without opening the Crayon. A little bad advice got us to buy the Pencil II for our iPad Pro 10.5 inch and after attempts to pair failed, we found out that we needed the first edition Pencil. I do not like having to plug it into the lightning port on the iPad to charge it is easily damaged like that. They did include a female to female lightning adapter so you can charge with a cord. I could see this adapter easily getting lost, so I taped it to a cord and designated that cord to the pencil. It did pair right up with our iPad Pro and we were in business quickly.

I really love that it is magnetic so it won’t be low battery every time I need it.

,y niece lives this pen. Well worth the money for sure.
