Works as expected! Love drawing with it and writing

The pencil works perfectly with my iPad Pro. I am a new user and had no problems setting up and using the pencil.

I love this pencil. It fits nicely in my hand. The upgrade from the original is night and day. I’m happy to be able to take notes and draw with my iPad Pro!

I bought the second generation together with the ipad pro and it works perfect and you just need to put it on the ipad to charge it

Apple has done away with the clunky way the original Apple Pencil charging method by working magnetically with the newest iPad Pro. I used to worry quite a bit about having the original AP plugged into a lightning port and damaging it in some accident. Having it charge by sticking to the edge of the new iPad Pros means it shouldn't ever be without a full charge or potentially misplaced. The magnet connection is pretty strong. This new format also incorporates a flat edge on the Apple Pencil so it shouldn't roll away if you lay it down on your desk. This new version is a bit shorter compared to the old version; more in tune to a standard size pen or pencil. The other big upgrade to this model is it has more a of a matte finish surface for easier gripping. The original model is pretty glossy and if you should have a bit of hand sweat while working/writing, it became a little awkward maintaining a decent grip. This product would get a full 5 stars had Apple made them backwards compatible with the previous iPad Pros. If you have a v1 or v2 model of the iPad Pro, you must get the original Apple Pencil. If you want the better Pencil, you have to buy the newer iPad Pro. I think that's a bit of money grab BS on Apple's part.

This pen is so necessary! I bought a generic pen for my iPad, but it was not working well. Buying a used one worked perfectly and saved me a few dollars. The pen still had it's original packaging and it was like new. I also love that it charges simply by being with my iPad.

I’d been using an Apple Pencil with my 10.5” iPad and bought the new one when I upgraded to my new 2018 12.9”. the magnetic attachment is very convenient, but the wireless charging is the best.

Works great long battery life also I love drawing with this device. Also when I tap the side it goes from drawing to erasing just that easy

If you have a typing issue where you commonly hit wrong or multiple keys, they is i quick solution for those quick emails or notes. If you draw or color, it makes filling in details a snap. Its sturdy, resists dirt, does not slip easily, and has decent magnets to hold it on your ipad. I would HIGHLY recommend an ipad cover with the pencil holder insert on tue side. The ones that support charging- some do not! The little elastic pockets do not, are cheap, and stretch or pull off. I have not lost or broken a tip yet. I did constantly knock the pencil off and drop it without the ipad cover. A good jolt pulls it off, as does slidimg it in a purse or briefcase.

I really like the pencil it very easy to use and holds it charge.

Though a bit pricey, it’s totally worth the $129. It’s extremely user friendly.

A little pricey yet it is as good or better than 1st generation (best if used with newer iPads) mostly because it’s the only one that works with them

Bought this for my 4th generation ipad air, works great. Battery is good on it as well. I like how it charges on the ipad.

Use it everyday with the iPad, and it’s easy to carry around. It’s great when needed to sign documents or while editing pictures or coloring. Worth it & it goes well with the iPad

I love drawing and writing with this pencil, also love that it magnetizes right to the iPad for ease of travel! Also that it charges from the iPad! Just amazing!

Needed to upgrade my Apple Pencil for the Ipad Air 4th gen. Works great! Easy set up. Purchased a low cost alternative. Didn't work.

Absolutely love this Apple Pencil. It’s really nice to the charge is magnetically connected to the iPad and you don’t have to use the lollipop method to charge it. I would mention that there are many offbrand competitors that are a fraction of the cost of this product. Some are fairly good and mimic the same features of this item. Depending on how much you plan to use the pencil, it may make sense to look into those.
