I love that this charges by sitting on top of the iPad. With the old pencil, I was constantly getting low battery warnings, and was always worried that I would damage the pencil or my ipad while charging it. (I lost the adapter after about four minutes). This one is always charged - and the iPad battery life is still impressive. I love the double tap to change between pen and eraser. I’m bummed that the second tip is no longer included, but overall, this is a great upgrade!

So smooth and really unlike any stylus you've ever used. If you are getting an iPad that does support this, you'll want to get it because literally nothing else can compare to it really. I think that if you don't need to write, then skip it because it is pricey but if you know you're going to be writing a lot, drawing, jotting notes in e-books etc, then don't hesitate and just get one. You won't regret it..

Really great accessory to the new iPad Pros. Not totally necessary if you aren’t an artist or designer, but if you’re considering an iPad Pro as a laptop replacement, it’s basically like a mouse in that sense and good for taking notes as well. It honestly depends on your preference and usage, but it works exactly as advertised and is a much better improvement in every aspect over the first generation Apple Pencil. Only real con is the price, unfortunately. Although, you do get what you pay for.

I loaded the Procreate app on my 11" iPad Pro and needed the Apple Pencil for the drawings I'm making for class. The Apple Pencil paired with my iPad immediately and charged up very quickly. It works super with the app. If you are into any of the art apps, the Apple Pencil is great!

I love the 2nd generation of the Apple Pencil. It feels good in my hand and I don't think the nib is too thick or makes drawing difficult. I don't really use it for notes - just art, but I mean it is a fantastic 'stylus'. Much better than the first generation I think. My only complaint is that I think it is priced a bit too high.

Although I haven’t used the Apple - Pencil (2nd Generation) much since purchasing, I find it is easy to use and works well. I love that it magnetically attaches to my iPad Pro which keeps it safe and easily accessible.

Really love the apple pencil, use it to write notes and do some light drawing. I greatly prefer writing notes rather than typing them but I always end up losing notebooks or forgetting where I wrote something and having this allows me to eliminate that issue. Definitely a splurge type of item for me but worth it.

This is my first Apple pencil and I was curious how it would work with my latest iPad Pro 12. It is flawless and I can't think of anything negative. The magnetic attachment is perfect and you don't have to struggle to take it off. It re-attaches without an issue. The pencil makes it so much easier to fill forms and sign documents. Life is easier and this is a great product.

Been using it for a couple months right now. It has been mainly for school but I have tried doing a little bit of art. For school: Honestly a 10/10 My handwriting feels 10x better and being able to use multiple colors, copy and paste, and being able to move my notes. Important notice: Your experience will largely depend on your note taking app. The notes app will not cut it, without notify taking notes feels really bad. Same with the art, the free art app I was using felt bad and would move around too much, and brushes were bad. I have a digital tablet to connect to pc so I know how digit art should feel like.

Great accessory for the IPad . It’s durable and the grip is good. Makes writing on the iPad very easy rather than using your finger. I also love that you just connect it to the side of the IPad and it charges without any cords.

This pen is a total upgrade on the original and it's a shame it's not backwards compatible. It does cost more, however I never runs out of battery since it's always magnetized to my ipad. I also don't have to worry about losing the cap that covered the insertable charging side. Not to mention we have dogs around so I constantly feared them breaking the pencil off inside the ipad while charging so this is a much more hassle-free option.

Easy to use, writes smoothly on the iPad. Have to be careful with the wrist on the tablet stopping the scroll and I often accidentally double tap the side which changes colors in pdf edit mode. Can complain about the price but it’s Apple….. so purchase an open box item, and you still have the warranty. I enjoy this much better than the v1 pencil. Easier to use and charge.

I love my Apple Pencil that I use with my iPad Pro and multiple apps. The magnet helps it to stay attached to the iPad even when carrying in/out of my sleeve. It also says charged just by keeping it attached to the iPad. This generation is very user friendly!

The Apple Pencil 2 is awesome — Been using for Couple years its super responsive, feels great to write or draw with, and charges magnetically right on the iPad. Perfect for notes, doodles, or creative work. Totally worth it if you use your iPad a lot!
