Ive had the previous gen of the apple pencil which was nice, but required to be plugged in to recharge. This one you are able to recharge by the magnetic grip on compatible iPads which is absolutely amazing. I like to be able to have both items full on battery so i dont have to wait to draw, so being able to charge at the same time without needing an extra cable and outlet is the best thing about this pencil. That said, i think the nib wears down way too quickly, especially on paperfeel screen protectors. I didn't have that issue with my previous pen.

Amazing for drawing on tablet and writing easily charges against my iPad

I bought this 2nd generation pencil to replace my Apple Pencil 1st generation. It works much better than the 1st generation. I don't have to have a holder on my tablet cover to hold the pencil, it magnetically clicks on to the iPad Pro that I also purchased. Very Happy with it!

Great for notes. Simple tap of pencil converts it to eraser. Convenient to charge. Fairly secure when held on side of iPad but when carrying iPad around it is easily knocked off.

Works well with Ipad Pro. Great tool. Its easy to lose though. I quickly learned to get a case that holds the pen. Its magnetic to the Ipad but easily comes off.

Needed a fast replacement after losing my last pencil. Got to me quick and was in perfect condition.

The devil is in the details. Apple has recreated their Apple Pencil with subtle changes that make a huge impact. The pencil charges wirelessly and allows the user to change between tools with two taps. The only downside to this product is that you can only use it with the new iPad Pro, so don’t look to replace the Apple Pencil gen 1 with this one.

I had the Gen. 1 pencil before and the Gen. 2 pencil is such an upgrade! Being able to charge magnetically it feels so nice in the hand and writing with it feels really nice!

Works great with tbe iPad. Zero problems with holding a charge. Charges through the iPad which is nice. Recommend for those that use the ipad for school or notes.

Perfect pairing with the iPad pro. Using this for my classes, really happy to save on paper and having to carry less weight in my bag. Stays charged while connected magnetically to the iPad, writes smooth on paper matte screen protector. I added a grip to the pencil to help it feel more ergonomic.

It is awesome. I loved the first generation but this one is even better. Lighter and smaller. Easier to write. I absolutely love not having to worry about charging it because as soon as you stick in the ipad with it’s case , it charges.

It's another expensive Apple accessory. But, you can largely expect it to work without issue. It functions (for my use) the same as gen one with the addition of a magnet for charging. A little bummed it didn't include an extra nib like the gen one in the box. But it works great and no functional complaints.

The Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) has blown me away. This one is used mostly for drawing. I really like that it has the ability to stay with the iPad with a magnet. It also charges while mounted to the side of the iPad. I know my daughter has used it for hours without charging. I'll give Apple 2 thumbs up and 5 stars!

There’s not much to say other than that it’s the Apple Pencil, it works very well. I love the tilt feature and the pressue sensitivity feature. i’m not an artist, but I use it for multitasking. It’s excellent for taking notes quickly on the go and marking up documents. When you go to make your next iPad purchase, I would just go ahead and pick up an Apple Pencil and if you purchase AppleCare at the same time, AppleCare will cover it if it stops working or it gets damaged. Definitely recommend. 

The pen writes really smooth with minimal lag as you draw as well. I love the feel and design of it over others due to having a better grip as i use it. The battery life is also amazing and would suggest you pick this gem up

Easy to access and super easy to charge makes this pen super practical and productive. Thanks it was not easy to access and charge it would have ended up in a drawer somewhere. But it’s not true about this pen. Outstanding design. Would buy again.

The Apple Pencil does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it well. It's incredibly responsive and fine control is great. I also appreciate the new charging method compared to the first gen Apple Pencil. If you're deciding between the two and have an iPad that supports Gen 2, it's definitely worth getting the newer Pencil. Only real ding against it is the price. When some 2-in-1 PCs include a stylus for around the total price of an iPad Pro, it kind of sucks needing to fork over an additional $130 for this thing.

The Apple Pencil works seamlessly with no problems. There is is no configurations to mess with. To use it works right out of the box. It magnetizes right to the top of the screen and charges great. Not much for instructions to tell you about how to use it.
