I never had the first generation of this pencil but the magnetic charging feature is so convenient and seamless. Charging is very fast, lasts a long time, and doesn't drain your iPad battery.

Earlier I was debating whether to buy it or not. After I bought, realised this is a great accessory for everyday use. Especially if you are a note taker using apps such as notability.. etc this is a must have accessory. Earlier I had iPad Pro 9.7” with 1st generation pencil, I have not used the pencil that much on ipad 9.7”. Integration was not that fluid in earlier generation. However this new generation product is well integrated to iPad especially because of magnetic charge and pairing you never feel like a additional task to charge and pair the pencil. Incase if you are not able to decide… I would suggest to go for it.

I really love this apple pencil. I have the 1st one. But this 2nd one is easy to charge and light weight. I like the way it writes.

Been wanting to buy a pen ever since apple launched it first, but this is worth the wait!!! Better than the first one. I love how it snaps on the ipad to charge. It light weight also.

Pretty nice pencil it’s nice to draw with and nice weight to it. Is it worth the money?? Not really but it’s kinda essential if you have an iPad.

Hesitated to buy the pen bc I thought it was too pricey for a pen, but works well esp for school!

This Apple Pencil works perfectly. Charging with the new iPad Pro is so convenient. Instantly attaches to the side. I find I use it not only for input but to navigate (keeps fingerprints off the screen). Very precise input.

Comes in very handy for students and artists. The charging is brilliant and it has the typical Apple high quality build. But also has the premium Apple price tag.

I love the touch feature where you just tap the pencil and it activates use on the tablet. And I love that you can just put it on top of the new gen iPad to charge it. I also did a review on the new iPad

We bought pencil from Best Buy, it's worth for money.

So I waited to get an Apple Pencil for some time after I bought the iPad Pro because I didn’t feel I really needed it. I don’t draw much, I like typing notes, and signing PDFs can be done easily enough with a finger. There were a few apps like coloring apps where it would be nice, but not necessary. I decided to finally get one because I had some rewards and wanted to see if it was worth the money. I was so wrong about not wanting one. This thing is the best stylus experience on the Pro. It is super responsive, feels natural, and it is so nice to have a way to select things when I have the iPad with the attached keyboard on. I highly recommend one if you like to be able to select and color and write on the iPad with precision and styled nuance.

It's a pencil, a brush, a marker and an eraser all in one. Pretty cool piece of technology. The reviewers complaining that the pencil falls off the iPad Pro have NOT found the correct magnet on the right side of the pro. Theres a very weak magnetic connection on the left side. Theres a much stronger magnetic on the right side and when you find it the pencil literally snaps into place. You can see a little rectangular on the right side of the iPad Pro...thats your Huckleberry!! Pairs in an instant, charges wirelessly...whats not to like? I use it to mark up sheet music on the forScore app. Highly recommend!!

Quite the upgrade from other cheap stencils. This one does so much more and is much easier to use. Personally, I like the fact I can write anywhere a text box is; it makes it a lot more convenient to write notes on an iPad.

Works well for drawings and animation art. In fact it works like a dream. Always problem free and works well with electronics pad drawing instruments. Compatible with every pad I’ve worked with.

Does what it says, electronic pencil for Apple Products. Always felt disappointed with the name Apple Pencil 2, when it should have been the Apple No. 2 Pencil. Lol

Amazing product, you can use this pencil for casual scrolling or instead of typing you can write! I personally use this pencil to draw with procreate and it works amazing!!

Works better and more convenient than the off brands. I like how it charges when magnetically connected to my iPad. Wish it was less expensive but the quality is definitely there.

easy to connect with senditive accurate interface with ipaD screen. great for artworks n taking notes in class!
