The Apple Pencil 2 is like a breath of fresh air in relationship to the first gen. I love that it charges wireless on my iPad Air 5. Losing the clunky lid and awkward stab-it-in-the-lightening-charger-slot design of the first gen was a good move. It is easy to pair, works quick, charges fast, and stays put with my device fairly well.

If you have a 2018 iPad Pro and you take a lot of notes, doodle or operate apps that require precise touch responses? You’ll definitely want to purchase the new Apple Pencil. Unlike the 1st gen Apple Pencil, the 2nd Gen attaches to the side of the iPad to pair for the first time and and charge. Yes inductive charging, no more plugging the pencil into the charge port to charge. The magnets are pretty strong too. I think the pencil is $29 over priced. I bought it anyways because I had the 1st gen pencil with my 9.7” iPad Pro. But I definitely recommend it especially if you can get it at an discount.

Love it. Works perfectly for my needs and charges when magnetically connected to the iPad, which keeps it handy and ready to go. I would recommend 10/10

I tried a number of different tablets and pen combinations and by far the Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) and iPad Pro were the best. The pen sticks to the side of the iPad via a magnet and charges when not in use. At first, I was worried that I would quickly lose the pencil, but it really does stay attached. (Still possible to lose, but haven’t yet...) Double tap on the pencil also switches between pen tips to make it really easy to do rapid editing. The only thing I haven’t found is a reliable handwriting to text converter, however this is a software issue and not the pencil.

It is very responsive and fairly durable if you treat it right, battery life charges fast and is fairly long lasting, great for animating and drawing. color doesnt die out and turn dusty and crusty as would you expect mainly because of its materials including aluminum for everything except the tip which is matte plastic.

Absolutely, the Apple Pencil 2 is like a digital artist's best friend. Its precision and responsiveness are top-notch, making it a must for any iPad user. The magnetic attachment and wireless charging are super convenient. While it's a bit on the pricey side, it's an investment that creative professionals won't regret.

Apple does think of everything. Used to annotate in Adobe, Word, and for use in drawing apps, although I wish I had more artistic talent. Charges right on the iPad Air, but be careful if you don’t have a case that accommodates that or you’ll lose it.

Well I invested in the first Apple Pencil and loved it used it for 4 years. I finally felt it was time for an upgrade. So got me a new iPad Pro a protector case and a new Apple Pencil 2. I been enjoying this way more since I got it. I love how I can now just set it on a table and it will stop rolling when it hits the flat side. Also I love the fact I don’t need extra cables to charge it. It’s just completely awesome and well worth the upgrade.

It would be cool if there were different colors. There doesn’t seem to be any lag. Easy to switch tools. Good quality.

After a year of use I can say that it works excellent, the battery lasts approximately 4 continuous hours and it charges super fast. Double-tap features and ergonomic design make it easy to type for a long time. Quite resistant, I use it daily to take notes in my classes and I like its functions more and more. Recommended for apps like good notes.

Feels great in the hand and is super lightweight. The newly designed Apple Pencil charges super quick via the magnetic connection and is great for creators.

Best thing apple did! Do great to draw and write with and makes thing easy! I love how it charges right on the iPad it’s wonderful overall I recommend it for sure

Can’t go wrong with a “classic” an a refurbished classic is just a better price tag on an already amazing product!

Recently gifted an ipad pro and knew that with so many features, having the pencil would greatly expand what my ipad could do. Its easy to use, easy to charge and has so many functions i havent even started to look into. I got an open box excellent condition and it looks and works like it is brand new.

The Apple Pencil has been a great addition to use with my iPad Air 2020. There’s a lot of uses included just scrolling through web pages or reaching corners of the iPad easier. It is very sensitive to pressure from the slightest tough to pushing harder down on the screen and everything inbetween. It picks up the angle of writing easily and makes drawing, editing, erasing and writing a lot more authentic and more natural as I don’t have to keep changing the paint brush settings to get lighter/darker strokes or change the width to get wider or thinner lines as the pencil does it all automatically and without hesitation. It has a very good hand feel and after spending prolonged periods of writing it’s still comfortable to hold and the Matt finish helps it not slide in my hand. Attaching magnetically to the side of my tablet and also charging from it is incredibly useful as it’s always there and charged when I want to use it and the magnets are strong and keep it firmly in position. The battery life is also very impressive as I’ve never managed to get it to go anywhere below 80% charged. The double tap works very well and is very useful for writing notes or drawing and saves a lot of messing around with selecting the marker or eraser. Cons: It can be knocked off from the side of the iPad or get in the way if you are holding the tablet two handed and portrait however I bought after buying a self adhesive Apple Pencil sleeve for £8 I don’t have that problem anymore but always have the pencil there without occasionally being in the way. The double tap feature works better on the flat side (that’s what you're meant to do) but on the rounded edges or further up it doesn’t always pick the double tap up but if you hold the pencil as it should the double tap is responsive and sensitive. The scribble feature could do with some work in regards picking up some letters or numbers although I have the hand writing of a child at best which I’m sure doesn’t help.

I bought a knock off from amazon and it was very poor quality. I returned it and got this one instead and it’s much better. It connects to the iPad automatically and magnetically. I never have to worry about charging it because it’s always charged. Also the features of the Apple Pencil are far and away better than what you get from the other brands. Stick with this one and don’t use the other. The low latency response makes this pencil feel like you’re actually writing on the screen. Again the other ones didn’t they writing was delayed.
