The pencil remained unopened for a month; I was contemplating returning this item then a need was demonstrated to markup some photos. This gem is able to draw a very fine line that I was not able to achieve with the “soft tip” pens. The fact that it is magnetized and “sits” on the long edge of the iPad when it is open allows for quick access.

Great for use with my ipad! As a design student it is very useful with my ipad for my college design classes

The Apple Pencil is a great accessory to the iPad 11. I was concerned I would not use it enough but I am loving it and use it daily.

Works really well, very responsive. Battery lasts a long time. My only complaint is that you can’t use it to switch apps or go home.

This thing is a work of art, feels great in your hand, nice weight to it and the magnetic charging/storing is awesome

Simply put, it's the best pencil available. I love its shape and feel, it fits into my iPad case so it's always available and it charges when in the case (magnetic charging). The pressure and tilt detection are icing on the cake. Yup, it's quite expensive. I tried the Logitech Crayon, which is quite good, but the things I've noted here made a difference.
